Refugees Thrive International

Refugees Thrive International funds holistic legal aid, educational, and health programs to ensure refugees have the protection and support they need to thrive. We focus on funding effective, local direct service organizations in the countries that neighbor crisis zones and host a disproportionate number of the world's refugees.

A Light For Zimbabwe

The mission of a Light for Zimbabwe is to empower children, specifically orphans, by providing sponsorships for school fees from primary through secondary school. In special cases, college scholarships may be obtained for a few based on merit and need. Donations will also be used to establish sustainable projects for rural villages and individuals to promote independence and self-reliance. Additionally, through the Village Health Worker program, we strive to meet basic screening and health care needs in remote areas as well as early identification of special needs such as children who are not attending school or who are otherwise at risk as well as caregivers in need of support. Compassion, a willingness to serve and a commitment to change are gifts we all can share.

Florida National Guard Foundation

The mission of the Foundation is to provide support to the men and women of the Florida National Guard in times of emergencies and deployments. To honor and assist those Soldiers and Airmen who have sacrificed their health and well being for the security of our great State and Nation, and to preserve our rich history so the sacrifices of our Soldiers and Airmen are not forgotten.

Worldwide Child Relief Foundation Inc

Their mission is to help severely impoverished small communities facilitate and develop the necessary skill sets to become economically self-sustaining. They plan to achieve this by providing education, business development opportunities, health services, and creating community infrastructure. They are guided by the principle of self-reliance and helping communities to learn to help themselves to reach their full potential.

Water, Agroforestry, Nutrition and Development Foundation

Empowerment of marginal farmers especially the youth by implementing an integrated program of water, agro-forestry, health and sanitation support, nutrition and community organizing. Capacity-building, local leadership development and gender and development cuts across our initiatives. Our main goal is for these families to live dignified lives, fully participating in the life of the community by improving their overall social and economic situation.

International Friends Of Compassion

IFC is an American based aid organization that has been providing assistance to the poor and displaced people in Indonesia. Work has been focused on Sulawesi and North Maluku since 2000. IFC seeks to improve the health and future of the people of these regions. In 2004, 75 acres of land were purchased on the island of Halmahera to build a medical base. Since then the base has developed into a place of care and hope.

HEALTHY ECOSYSTEMS ARE NECESSARY FOR SUSTAINABILITY OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND COMMUNITIES. AS ECOSYSTEM HEALTH IS IMPACTED BY A VARIETY OF FACTORS AND AS COMMUNITIES EXPAND INTO FIRE-PRONE AREAS, WILDFIRES ARE AN INCREASING THREAT TO RESOURCES AND PEOPLE. PROACTIVE PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT IS NECESSARY TO MITIGATE WILDFIRE IMPACTS. HAWAII WILDFIRE MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION DISSEMINATES CRITICAL INFORMATION, AND IMPLEMENTS FUELS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES AND RESEARCH THAT PROTECTS IRREPLACEABLE NATURAL RESOURCES AND COMMUNITIES.

Sycamore Land Trust

The mission of Sycamore Land Trust is to preserve the beauty, health, and diversity of southern Indiana's natural landscapes through strategic land conservation and environmental education. Vision: Sycamore Land Trust envisions a future in which southern Indiana has diverse and abundant habitat for native plants and animals, as well as clean air and water, working lands that are productive and sustainable, and people who embrace the connection between a healthy environment and our quality of life.

OneMama Organization

OneMama's mission is to bring prosperity and health to people all over the world by empowering women as caregivers, mothers, businesswomen and agents of change for their rural communities. OneMama's began with a pilot program in Uganda. The program consists of building a medical clinic where midwives can provide safe post and prenatal care to their patients as well as teach about family planning, and economic sustainability. As OneMama grows, we will gradually replicate this program in 250 different communities around the globe.

Changing Tides Foundation

CTF was born from the idea that the world would be a better place if we were all given the opportunity to give back. Established by a group of water women, we feel it is our calling to help others by teaming up with local organizations globally to raise awareness and address social, environmental, health and safety concerns in the places we visit. We aim to bridge the gap between the traveler and our projects enabling travelers to add a life-changing experience to their journeys and add purpose to travel.

OPERATION FISTULA

Obstetric fistula is the manifestation of entrenched societal and institutional inequity. Its persistence is a direct result of systems failing to serve women and girls. We exist to end obstetric fistula. We do this by building models of care that serve every woman, everywhere. We relentlessly challenge the systems of gender inequity that perpetuate fistula, and engage collaboratively with partner agencies to maximize and scale our impact. Using new technologies, and cutting-edge data collection tools, we will provide an unprecedented degree of transparency to the social impact sector, and transform global maternal health.

A Union Of Golden Hearts

Golden Hearts believes in lighting a dream, one child at a time. Our mission is to provide access to education to academically motivated but financially disadvantaged students, and to promote individual well-being and public health access for those with whom we cross paths. We hope to change the lives of young children because they are our future. We hope to find people with golden hearts because each one is like a ray of sunshine that keeps the world bright every day. Even if the difference does not change their life, it will at least bring a smile to their faces during this tough time. During 2019, Scholarships, totaling $34,950, were granted to Students throughout Southern, Northern, and Central Vietnam. Presents, totaling $33,095, were given to needy children, which included fitness clothing, blankets, jackets, backpacks, and candy, etc.
