Harvesters Reaching the Nations (HRTN) is a Christ-centered organization providing discipleship, education and health care to orphans as well as vulnerable women and children in remote regions of the world. We are working to realize a vision: a world where children are free from spiritual, economic and social poverty so they can better serve their communities as disciples of Christ.

The Power of the Heels Foundation’s mission is geared towards creating social change by mentoring young women to become strong, financially independent, emotionally healthy, and successful.

Founded in 1998, The Democracy Council advocates freedom, human rights, equal opportunity, and public participation across the globe. The Council's work is based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the belief that a vibrant civil society and accountable public administration remain fundamental tenets of democratic societies. The rights of all human beings, governed and governing, should be respected. The right to organize and advocate on one's own behalf is a fundamental right of all people. Discrimination, repression, and torture must be resisted at all levels - at all times. The Council maintains a proven track record of working with both local and national government offices and civil society organizations to build the capacity of those pushing to promote these values. Through civic engagement and education, public testimony and partnerships with civil society organizations, the Council works to ensure that respect for rights and the promotion of public participation in an accountable and productive manner are priorities of transitioning states.

The first Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, three young CCVI logoFrench women motivated by the love of God and their recognition of God's presence in each person, came to San Antonio in 1869 to minister to the sick and the poor. Their spirit of Christian service is perpetuated in the University of the Incarnate Word primarily through teaching and scholarship, encompassing research and artistic expression. Inspired by Judeo-Christian values, the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, and Catholic Social Teaching,¹ the University of the Incarnate Word aims to educate men and women who will become concerned and enlightened citizens within the global community. The University of the Incarnate Word is committed to educational excellence in a context of faith in Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Word of God. Thus, through a liberal education² the university cultivates the development of the whole person and values of life-long learning. The mission of the Asheville City Schools Foundation is to collaborate with our community to do whatever it takes for all ACS students to thrive.

Our mission is to support children and adults to develop deeper relationships with nature, self, and community through long-term nature connection mentoring and community-based wilderness rites of passage. Our vision is to help raise young people who are ready to meet life's challenges and be of service in the world: youth who have a positive sense of themselves as young women and men; who know what their gifts are; feel deeply connected with nature; have strong community support; and are full of resilience and vitality.

The Growing Leaders Initiative is a 501c3 organization that exists to provide habitudes (character-based, student-leadership development) to schools that cannot afford to purchase programs for their students. In both urban and rural environments, students are confined emotionally, behaviorally, and spiritually. In some places, students never leave a 9-block radius or a 9-mile radius from their home. They don’t leave the familiar because they’re never given the opportunity. We want to change that. We want to broaden their vision, and help them take bigger risks, think bigger thoughts, and pursue bigger goals. We want to enable them to become the best version of themselves.

The Institute for Educational Advancement (IEA) is dedicated to the intellectual, creative, and personal growth in our nation’s gifted and high potential youth. Central to the mission of IEA is a commitment to the development of the whole child through engaging learning experiences that promote optimal challenge, mentorship, exploration of ideas, and recognition of personal potential. IEA seeks to connect like-minded individuals and supports a diverse community that creates a sense of belonging and affirmation.
