Big Sur Land Trust is a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire love of land across generations, conservation of our unique Monterey County landscapes, and access to outdoor experiences for all. We see a future where natural landscapes, working lands, urban open spaces and healthy communities are cared for by people who share a love of nature and a deep appreciation for the richness of their diverse cultures. Since 1978, our generous donors and partners have conserved over 40,000 acres throughout Monterey County. As an accredited land trust, our work promotes: 1. HEALTHY LANDS: Conserving and caring for the magnificent natural landscapes, habitats and waterways of our region to ensure a sustainable future. 2. HEALTHY PEOPLE: Providing opportunities for all who live in and visit Monterey County to experience the healthful benefits associated with access to parks and open spaces, fresh food, clean air and water, and a deep connection to nature. 3. HEALTHY COMMUNITIES: Engaging in partnerships where conservation and civic participation increase community vitality, economic prosperity and social equity. Big Sur Land Trust is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) governed by a board of trustees, operated by a professional staff and supported by hundreds of members and volunteers. Our work is funded by generous private donations and public conservation funding. We are proud to be accredited by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission, an independent program of the Land Trust Alliance. The accreditation seal is awarded to land trusts meeting the highest national standards for excellence and conservation permanence.

The Educational CHOICE Charitable Trust provides tuition assistance to low-income students, serves as a model for research and legislation, and encourages schools to improve by introducing competition into the education system.

The charity is the co-ordinating entity of Pestalozzi World - an alliance of organisations whose work in Africa and Asia is inspired by the educational philosophy of Johann Pestalozzi. The Trust's mission is to provide a practical secondary education to deprived children in the poorest countries in Africa and Asia. It focuses on the brightest children, especially girls.

The American Battlefield Trust preserves America’s hallowed battlegrounds and educates the public about what happened there and why it matters. As the nation's leading heritage land preservation organization, we have saved more than 57,000 acres of battlefield land in 24 states to date — thanks to the support of our members & partners.

White Buffalo Land Trust practices, promotes, and develops systems of regenerative agriculture for local, regional, and global impact. We are focused on the restoration of our ecosystem through agriculture. We are committed to the evolution of land stewardship and the redesign of our food system to directly address the climate, biodiversity, public health, and food security challenges that we face today. We believe change begins on the ground and that our local solutions lead to regional and global impact through shared data, models, and linking practices to outcomes.

Sustainable Coastlines is a registered New Zealand charity. We're on a mission to enable people to look after the coastlines and waterways they love. We love our coasts and waterways and we work with our sleeves rolled up to keep them healthy and beautiful. We deliver coastal clean-up events, educational programmes, public awareness campaigns, and riparian planting projects. We also work with volunteers, interns, ambassadors and local community groups to enable them to deliver these activities in their own communities. Working with local grassroots charities and NGOs in 13 countries across the globe, the Global Vision International (GVI) Charitable Trust manages and raises funds for numerous long-term programs. These funds are used to support our local partners with the aims of alleviating poverty, illiteracy, environmental degradation and climate change. We do this through education, nutrition, conservation and capacity building. Our work focuses upon 3 key objectives: awareness, impact and empowerment. The aim is to create awareness of global issues, have a direct impact on those issues locally and empower our alumni, be they volunteers, donors, staff or community members, to continue impacting local issues on a global level.

Hidden Villa was founded by Frank and Josephine Duveneck, who purchased the land in 1924 and offered it as a gathering place for discussion, reflection, and incubation of social reform. Over the following decades, the Duvenecks established the first Hostel on the Pacific Coast (1937), the first residential multiracial summer camp (1945), and Hidden Villa’s Environmental Education Program (1970). The Trust for Hidden Villa was established as an educational nonprofit in 1960. Today this 1600 acre community gem, in Los Altos Hills, provides opportunities to learn about the world around us and each other, participate in sustainable food systems, and develop the next generation of green educators, innovative farmers, and thoughtful leaders. Hidden Villa's mission is to inspire a just and sustainable future through our programs, land, and legacy.
