Our tutoring, writing, and publishing programs prepare young people, ages 6 to 18, for a successful future by developing strong writing skills, championing diverse communication styles, and motivating young people to share their stories. Programs at each Fearless Ideas center reach into the surrounding neighborhood to involve adults and businesses in helping youth become engaged citizens and confident leaders. All programs are free and open to families from any socio-economic background.

Wolf Warrior Outdoor Leadership For The Future

Warrior Outdoor Leadership for the Future (WOLF) WOLF is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that provides research and education for Gold Star and underserved Youth with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) skills to be the future Leaders. WOLF provides accredited curriculum, training and career building programs for the underserved youth in our military and our local community. Students are provided travel, tuition and hands on training with certified trainers, teachers and professors, where they participate in classroom programs, outdoor leadership challenges, team-building mission critical use case scenarios, career mentoring, resume-building workshops, community outreach, and networking for internships.

The Academy For Scholastic and Personal Success

Our History Since 1989 more than 2500 students of color in Cedar Rapids and surrounding communities have received culturally specific instruction in core curricular areas, along with essential travel exposure through The Academy for Scholastic and Personal Success. The Academy SPS is designed to be academically rigorous, is taught by a diverse group of culturally knowledgeable staff, and is housed on a college/university campus. Because of these components, students are more likely to possess the tools they need to succeed in post-secondary educational programs after participating in The Academy. The Academy SPS serves 25-40 students for six weeks each summer, many of whom return for multiple experiences throughout their high school careers. It is the only non-remedial, proactive program of its kind in Iowa.

The mission of the American Friends of the Spafford Children's Center Fund (AFSCCF) is to support the SCC by raising funds in the United States. AFSCCF activities are implemented by a volunteer board of directors. To educate women and girls in Nigeria about good health, to empower them with different skills acquisition and support them financially to have a good lifestyle. To build health care centers for pregnant women and destitute homes to affect women lives in positive ways. To provide good foods to the poorest communities and also educate them on advantages for eating healthy foods. And advantages for going to health centers for health care and vaccines for children. To advocate for free healthcare, free vaccines and free medicines for girls, women and children to reduce death rate and to keep them alive. To advocate that pregnant women should be given a free medical attention till after delivery of their babies.
