Pathways to Safety International

Pathways to Safety International empowers victims of interpersonal & gender based violence abroad. Pathways undertakes the global challenge of assisting victims who are enduring extreme suffering in isolated situations where support seems minimal and many obstacles block the path to safety. Services are provided 24/7/365 via technology on a global scale to American victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking and forced marriage. This is achieved via an international toll free crisis line, 833-SAFE-833, accessible from over 120 countries, serving a population estimated at 9 million American civilians living overseas, 80 million Americans traveling overseas, and the 450,000 American military personnel and their dependents.

Lydia Patterson Institute

Founded in 1913, Lydia Patterson Institute is the only remaining United Methodist institution in the United States that serves a predominately Hispanic population. Lydia Patterson Institute continues to serve as a church-related and church-supported institution because of its mission to serve a special human need in an environment where faith and knowledge interact to enrich our lives and develop Christian leadership for church and society. Our mission is to: represent the Christian faith as understood by the United Methodist Church; provide quality bi-lingual, cross-cultural academic education; provide a center where local church leaders, clergy and lay persons, may receive training and experience; and develop leadership skills in persons interested in positions of Christian ministry.

The Hidden Genius Project

The Hidden Genius Project trains and mentors Black male youth in technology creation, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills to transform their lives and communities. The Hidden Genius Project was founded in 2012 by five Black male entrepreneurs/technologists who were unnerved by the dramatic juxtaposition between the high unemployment of Black male youth and the plethora of career opportunities within the local technology sector. To address this challenge, the founders established a program to connect young Black males with the skills, mentors, and experiences that they need to become high-performing entrepreneurs and technologists in a 21st century, global economy.

Teach For All

Teach For All is a global network of independent, locally led and governed partner organizations and a global organization that works to accelerate the progress of the network. Each network partner recruits and develops promising future leaders to teach in their nations’ under-resourced schools and communities and, with this foundation, to work with others, inside and outside of education, to ensure all children are able to fulfill their potential. Teach For All’s global organization works to increase the network’s impact by supporting the development of new organizations; fostering network connectivity and learning; providing coaching and consulting; and enabling access to global resources for the benefit of the network.

William Penn House - * Is a Quaker center for exploring and making visible the Quaker Testimonies of peace, community, simplicity, equality and truth, * Nurtures and celebrates those who "Speak Truth to Power" in pursuit of peace and social justice * Has a special ministry to youth * Connects visitors from the United States and around the world with the service and witness resources of Washington D.C. * Serves as a communication center for Friends' meetings in the Washington area * Is a hospitality center on Capitol Hill that can provide lodging for up to 30 people, and rooted and grounded in Quaker faith and practice.

Tenafly Nature Center Association

Tenafly Nature Center is a non-profit, independent, member-supported nature preserve located in Bergen County, New Jersey. Since 1961, TNC has nurtured an appreciation for nature, been a leader in open-space preservation and environmental education for our community and beyond. Our mission is the stewardship of nearly 400 wooded acres for the purposes of conservation, education, recreation, and community engagement. Our vision is to create a community that feels a strong connection to the natural world and actively partners with us to promote the highest level of biodiversity possible for our natural areas.

Inspiring Girls USA

Our mission is to raise girls’ aspirations by connecting them with women role models. We introduce girls to the full variety of careers and options in life, inspiring them to aim high. Our work is part of Inspiring Girls International, which was founded in the UK in 2016 by Miriam González Durántez. Since then, the community has grown to include a total of 36 country teams across six continents. The USA team launched its first programming in November of 2020 and received its own legal standing and official 501(c)3 status in July of 2021.

Hearing Education and Awareness For Rockers, Inc.

Since 1988, H.E.A.R., Hearing Education and Awareness For Rockers, mission is dedicated to the prevention of hearing loss and tinnitus. We cater particularly to the population most vulnerable to potential noise induced hearing loss ––young music lovers, musicians, DJs and their audiences and others in the music and entertainment industry––but extend our education, awareness, and advocacy to people from all walks of life. In addition to awareness, education and advocacy work, we provide music-hearing services in San Francisco and a directory of partners for other locales. In everything that we do, we strive to ensure that hearing conservation becomes part of every music education and music lifestyle. H.E.A.R. wants you and your loved ones to enjoy music, and the pleasure of hearing, for a long, long time.

PC Coup d'Pouce

PC Coup d'Pouce (PCCP), an association under the 1901 law, aims to set up development aid projects local, national or international level, in this case in recent years in Benin, Togo and Senegal. Its aim is to provide sustainable aid adapted to the needs of a population. We ensure that the project is monitored and runs smoothly, while promoting the community's development of the community. The projects are integrated into the development policy of the development policy of the host country. They are carried out by the local association in conjunction with its local partners and concern various fields of action, namely education, nutrition, women's empowerment and water and sanitation. The association supervises the entire project, is responsible for fundraisin, and carries out reconnaissance and monitoring missions in the field, which are necessary for the the project. The association refrains from taking political, religious or ethnic positions and/or demonstrations.

Ecuadorian Volunteers Association

EVA is a non-profit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and registered in the State of Illinois. It was created for the purpose of assisting Ecuadorian institutions devoted to educational, social, and health programs for the poor, neglected, and at-risk segments of the population. EVA is run by volunteers, and the various programs are implemented through network of viable, non-profit Ecuadorian institutions previously selected by a careful screening process. EVA requires that all the funds collected and distributed as yearly grants be only used for programmatic objectives of the organization it sponsors. EVA's Community Assistance Grant was instituted in 2008 to improve the quality of life of economically disadvantaged people living in the Chicago Metropolitan area where EVA is located. I Since its inception, we have been giving opportunities to advance educational, health, and human service programs in the local community.

Lifeline Energy

Lifeline Energy is a non-profit social enterprise that provides sustainable information and education access to vulnerable populations. We achieve this by designing, manufacturing and distributing solar and wind-up media players and radios for classroom and group listening. Since 1999, we have distributed more than 500,000 power independent radios to provide on-demand access to information and education, mainly in sub-Saharan Africa. Over the years we have received numerous awards including the Tech Museum of Innovation Award, a World Bank Development Marketplace Award and an Index: Design to Improve Life Award. In addition, our founder and CEO Kristine Pearson was named one of TIME magazine's Heroes of the Environment for 2007 and received the James C. Morgan Global Humanitarian Award in 2005.
