Americans for Oxford, Inc. (AFO) is the University’s North American fundraising body that seeks gifts to support Oxford and its Colleges. It enables the University to maintain and enhance its tradition as one of the great universities of the world. Ensuring this status requires an ongoing commitment from all Oxonians. AFO has been determined by the United States Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt public charity.

James B. Duke's founding Indenture of Duke University directed the members of the University to 'provide real leadership in the educational world' by choosing individuals of 'outstanding character, ability, and vision' to serve as its officers, trustees and faculty; by carefully selecting students of 'character, determination and application;' and by pursuing those areas of teaching and scholarship that would 'most help to develop our resources, increase our wisdom, and promote human happiness.

Build for Devon was established in 2015 after Southern University football player Devon Gales was injured in an NCAA game in Athens, Ga. This house construction fund raises money to go towards building expenses for a handicap accessible, family home in Jefferson, Ga.

The Philosophy of Education at EPIC Bible College is based upon the premise that God is the source of all truth; that the Holy Spirit is the Leader and Guide into all truth; that humans, as created in the image of God, may gain knowledge and understanding of spiritual and physical realities through pursuit of truth.
