The College of the Holy Cross is, by tradition and choice, a Jesuit liberal arts college serving the Catholic community, American society, and the wider world. To participate in the life of Holy Cross is to accept an invitation to join in dialogue about basic human questions: What is the moral character of learning and teaching? The faculty and staff of Holy Cross, now primarily lay and religiously and culturally diverse, also affirm the mission of Holy Cross as a Jesuit college. As such, Holy Cross seeks to exemplify the longstanding dedication of the Society of Jesus to the intellectual life and its commitment to the service of faith and promotion of justice. The College is dedicated to forming a community which supports the intellectual growth of all its members while offering them opportunities for spiritual and moral development. In a special way, the College must enable all who choose to do so to encounter the intellectual heritage of Catholicism, to form an active worshipping community, and to become engaged in the life and work of the contemporary church. Since 1843, Holy Cross has sought to educate students who, as leaders in business, professional, and civic life, would live by the highest intellectual and ethical standards. The mission of Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts is to educate aspiring artists through a rigorous studio curriculum rooted in figurative and representational art. The College offers a comprehensive liberal arts education essential for advanced critical and creative thought. The program reflects a deep respect for both traditional and innovative forms of teaching and provides an unrivalled foundation for developing unique visual expressions. Upon completion of their studies, students will be equipped not only to articulate their culture, but also to give it shape and substance.

Hands of Hope Foundation is designed to operate and develop faith based communities that will function on a local, national, and international level to provide financial and/or direct assistance to individuals, families, and other organizations in meeting a wide variety of needs to include: short term housing, medical care, education assistance, drinkable water, food and clothing; as well as a place of respite for Ministers and their families. Offering Hope in Christ in the spirit of 1 Peter 3:15. Our current projects include: educational services in Liberia, Bulgaria, and Thailand. Medical clinic in Weala, Liberia. 5 new churches in Pattaya, Thailand.

The first Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, three young CCVI logoFrench women motivated by the love of God and their recognition of God's presence in each person, came to San Antonio in 1869 to minister to the sick and the poor. Their spirit of Christian service is perpetuated in the University of the Incarnate Word primarily through teaching and scholarship, encompassing research and artistic expression. Inspired by Judeo-Christian values, the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, and Catholic Social Teaching,¹ the University of the Incarnate Word aims to educate men and women who will become concerned and enlightened citizens within the global community. The University of the Incarnate Word is committed to educational excellence in a context of faith in Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Word of God. Thus, through a liberal education² the university cultivates the development of the whole person and values of life-long learning.
