Florida International University Foundation

Donations supporting Florida International University, help to support academic programs, scholarships, internships, etc. Gifts that are undesignated may be used to support First Generation Scholarships. The Florida International University Foundation, Inc. (FIU Foundation) was established in 1969 to encourage, solicit, receive and administer gifts for scientific, educational and charitable purposes for the advancement of Florida International University and its objectives. It is registered by the State of Florida as a charitable organization and is approved by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization. The Foundation has also been certified as a Direct Support Organization (DSO) of Florida International University as defined in Florida Statue 1004.28.

Dutchess Community College Foundation

James Madison University Foundation

The JMU Foundation, first established as the Madison College Foundation in 1969, exists to "Promote the welfare, efficiency, service to the public and objectives of James Madison University and to encourage private gifts of money, securities, land or other property of whatever character for such purposes." During our 30 year history, we have played an important role in the university's dramatic growth from a state teachers college to a multipurpose university. The ability to purchase or receive property the university needs in a timely manner has made many of the buildings and facilities, essential to the JMU of today, possible.

Over the past 5 decades it has grown to annually offer hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships every year, and has an endowment in excess of $4 million.
