The mission of VanderCook College of Music is to enrich the lives of present and future generations through the preparation of teachers in the instrumental, choral, and general music disciplines.  VanderCook’s broad-based curriculum is designed to prepare teachers with strong character, skill in the process of teaching, and respect for the essential role of music in our culture.

The Wsuaa Exists To Provide Opportunities For Alumni To Participate In And Contribute To Wayne State University ("wsu"). The Mission Of The Wsuaa Is To Provide Wsu's Alumni And Friends with Information, Resources, Programs, And Service Opportunities That Aid In Developing And Nurturing A Personal, Lifelong Connection To Wsu. Such Connection Is Demonstrated Through Engagement And Philanthropic Support.

 The Rockefeller University was founded in 1901 by John D. Rockefeller Sr. as The Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research. The first institution in the United States devoted solely to using biomedical research to understand the underlying causes of disease, Rockefeller is today one of the foremost biomedical research centers in the world, and its scientists have made numerous seminal contributions to biology and medicine. Over the years, 24 scientists associated with the university have received Nobel Prizes and 21 have earned the Albert Lasker Medical Research Award. Fourteen Rockefeller scientists have received the Gairdner Foundation International Award and 14 have been given the National Medal of Science, the nation's highest scientific honor. In addition to a century of prize-winning breakthroughs, Rockefeller has devoted over half a century to training the next generation of innovative, pathbreaking scientists.

The first Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, three young CCVI logoFrench women motivated by the love of God and their recognition of God's presence in each person, came to San Antonio in 1869 to minister to the sick and the poor. Their spirit of Christian service is perpetuated in the University of the Incarnate Word primarily through teaching and scholarship, encompassing research and artistic expression. The mission of the Foundation is "to change lives by supporting opportunities and innovation at Delta College" The Foundation was established to raise, receive and administer donations for the College by building relationships with donors and directing fundraising efforts. All contributions to the Foundation are transferred or spent to benefit the College's students, educational programs, staff development, capital projects and other financial needs.
