Traditionally a college for women, and one of the first colleges to confer a college degree to women, SEU was founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1899, with a mission to be a community of learning in the Catholic liberal arts for students of diverse ages, backgrounds, and cultures. SEU will be nationally recognized for its academic excellence and commitment to developing leadership in our underserved student body. SEU is federally designated as a Minority and Hispanic-serving institution of higher education, serving approximately 1,200 students. SEU's strategic priorities focus on increasing student enrollment, academic success, and degree completion rates. SEU has a long-standing commitment to social justice which highlights our firm belief in inclusion, equity and advocacy for all.

THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO RAISE FUNDS ABOVE AND BEYOND PUBLIC TUITION SOURCES AND TO PROMOTE AWARENESS OF THE INSTITUTION. THE FOUNDATION DIRECTS THESE FUNDS TO ASSIST THE COLLEGE IN PROVIDING AFFORDABLE, ACCESSIBLE, AND QUALITY EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL EXPERIENCES TO THE COMMUNITY.

The CCSU Foundation supports the activities of Central Connecticut State University. CCSU is a community of learners dedicated to teaching and scholarship that emphasizes development and application of knowledge and ideas through research and outreach activities, and prepares students to be thoughtful, responsible and successful citizens. As a comprehensive public university, we provide broad access to quality degree programs at the baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral levels.

The University of Idaho is the state’s land-grant research university. From this distinctive origin and identity comes our commitment to enhance the scientific, economic, social, legal, and cultural assets of our state, and to develop solutions for complex problems facing society. We deliver on this commitment through focused excellence in teaching, research, outreach, and engagement in a collaborative environment at our residential main campus, regional centers, extension offices, and research facilities throughout the state. The Cypress College Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization established to enhance educational excellence by securing resources and promoting public awareness of Cypress College.

Working with the faculty, alumni, parents, donors, and students, seeking to broaden Cal Maritimes community to include all who hold a stake in its past, present, and future. Responsibilities include fundraising, donor relations, alumni affairs, public relations, and fundraising database management.
