The mission of Swarthmore College is to prepare its students for full, balanced lives as individuals and as responsible citizens through exacting intellectual study supplemented by a varied program of extracurricular activities. The purpose of Swarthmore College is to make its students more valuable human beings and more useful members of society. Although it shares this purpose with other educational institutions, each school, college, and university seeks to realize that purpose in its own way. Swarthmore seeks to help its students realize their fullest intellectual and personal potential combined with a deep sense of ethical and social concern.

Founded in 1982, the SCC Foundation exists to attract, manage and disburse funds in support of Southeastern Community College and the people its serves.

Through the creation and transfer of knowledge, the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science educates leaders in the application and development of engineering and scientific solutions that benefit the world. The University of Virginia Engineering Foundation is dedicated to providing fiancial aid and counsel for all aspects of the SEAS mission.

We strive to develop key partnerships—with other North Carolina universities, state and federal government agencies, and private industry—that will connect entrepreneurs, researchers, leaders, organizations and residents, create new ideas and entities, and accelerate economic growth. As an independent, nonpartisan organization, the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise is in a unique position to engage others and build bridges for innovation, particularly among the life sciences, physical sciences and applied sciences. These collaborations will translate research into impactful economic growth and job creation for our state and beyond.

Eleven Fifty Academy exists to help close the nation's growing technology skills gap through its mission of creating an ecosystem of technology talent that benefits the individual, their employer, and their community.

The Peter J. Herchenbach Memorial Scholarship Fund is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that helps high school students that are fighting cancer or other life threatening diseases. We offer $5,000 college scholarships that support anyone whose high school experience is being overshadowed by their disease. We want to help these gallantly fighting young adults by investing in their college education.

Cal Poly fosters teaching, scholarship and service in a learn-by-doing environment where students and faculty are partners in discovery. The mission of the Coastline Community College Foundation is to support students through scholarships, endowment and other financial programs to expand the capacity to meet the diverse needs of Coastline students and the community.
