Since 1994 Project Vote has worked to increase civic participation in the United States, focusing on three historically underrepresented constituencies: youth, people of color, and lower-income Americans.

VoteRunLead

VoteRunLead is a national, nonpartisan organization that unleashes the power of women leaders in democracy through training, technology and community. We aim for large-scale impact on women’s community and political leadership never before seen in the United States. By harnessing social networks as a new and powerful recruitment tool, creating an online platform to learn to run and lead, and conducting in-person trainings that build powerful networks, VoteRunLead will fuel women’s ambition for civic leadership and close the knowledge gap around politics for women from all classes, cultures and colors.

The Voter Participation Center

The Voter Participation Center (VPC) works to ensure the New American Majority (NAM): people of color, young people, and unmarried women, engage in democracy equal to their presence in society through voter registration, mobilization, and education. VPC is a civic engagement organization that primarily uses direct mail and digital platforms in metrics driven, targeted programming steeped in research and learning about the populations it serves. VPC is committed to continuous innovation, evolution, experimentation and the development of new approaches to help realize the full voting potential of the NAM, and to working in partnership with local, state and national civic engagement efforts. VPC envisions a democracy where all voices are heard equally in elections and political discourse

International Institute Of Gurmat Studies

Through camps, festivals and meetings, IGS strives for a spiritually awakened, educationally progressive: socially Gurmat oriented and politically united Khalsa Panth.

Human Concern International (HCI)

To provide dynamic leadership for implementing what we see as universal values founded on fundamental Islamic values by contributing to the alleviation of poverty and securing better socio-economic life for the disadvantaged groups through empowering them to depend on themselves and participate in the decisions concerning their own problems. These values are echoed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other United Nations human rights instruments. The freedoms and responsibilities inherent in them lead directly to tolerance, pluralism, gender equality, public dialogue and non-violence to settle disputes, respect for all people regardless of differing characteristics – all part of what we call “Canadian values”.

Indspire

Indspire (the former National Aboriginal Achievement Foundation) is a registered national charity that provides the necessary tools for Indigenous peoples, especially youth to achieve their potential. Our focus is on supporting, innovating, and fundamentally transforming Indigenous education. To date, Indspire’s Building Brighter Futures: Bursaries and Scholarship Awards program has awarded over $49-million in bursaries and scholarships to over 14,000 First Nation, Inuit and Métis students nationwide. Our other programs, Soaring: Indigenous Youth Career Conferences and Industry in the Classroom: Indigenous Youth Career Seminars, focus on introducing students to potential careers and opportunities. Each year we recognize 14 outstanding Indigenous achievers at the Indspire Awards. This nationally televised gala provides role models for Indigenous youth and celebrates the rich contributions First Nation, Inuit and Métis people have made to their communities and Canada.
