The Miss America Foundation strives to change lives and influence young women across the country and around the world. We proudly offer academic and community-based scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as endowed scholarships for those young women attending medical school, working in special areas for military service awareness, STEM, and in the performing arts. The Miss America Foundation, Inc. is a New Jersey not-for-profit corporation that provides academic scholarships to young women. MAF is duly recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service. As such, any donation to the Foundation is tax deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. building scholarships to prepare great women for the world and the world for great women.

The Brego Foundation is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and retirement of former racehorses and raising awareness of the plight of “the unwanted horse”. Our goal: drive proactive change in the horse/human relationship.

People For the American Way is a national progressive advocacy organization that inspires and mobilizes Americans to defend freedom, justice, and democracy from those who threaten to take them away. Our Mission: The Arts High Foundation (aka Los Angeles County High School for the Arts Foundation) incorporated in 1984 “to promote the arts and the advancement of young artists by raising and distributing funds for the establishment and operation of a public arts high school in Los Angeles County.”

The Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice is the only philanthropic organization working exclusively to advance LGBTQI human rights around the globe. We support brilliant and brave grantee partners in the U.S. and internationally who challenge oppression and seed change. We work for racial, economic, social, and gender justice, because we all deserve to live our lives freely, without fear, and with dignity.

Rock the Vote engages young people in our democracy and builds their political power by registering, educating and turning them out to vote, by forcing the candidates to campaign to them, and by making politicians pay attention to youth and the issues they care about once in office. We use music, popular culture, new technologies and old fashioned grassroots organizing to engage and mobilize young people to participate in every election, and provide the information and tools they need to do so.  And we amplify the actions of those young people who step up to claim their voice in the process in order to create political and social change.

She’s the First fights for a world where every girl chooses her own future. We team up with local organizations to make sure girls are educated, respected, and heard.

The Institute's mission is to foster values-based leadership encouraging individuals to reflect on the ideals and ideas that define a good society and to provide a neutral and balanced venue for discussing and acting on critical issues. The Institute does this in four ways seminars, which help participants reflect on what they think makes a good society and enhancing their capacity to solve problems leaders face.
