Bark Avenue Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to empower pet owners and local communities to reduce abandoned animal populations through spay/neuter, pet retention, reclamation and education. Working with communities and non-profit partners, Bark Avenue Foundation provides spay/neuter funding, pet tags, microchips, education and support to pets of families in need in Los Angeles and surrounding counties.

To deliver a superior moral and academic education to young Virgin Islanders. To instill in its students an active respect for people of all faiths and backgrounds. To promote independence, self-worth, physical health, spiritual awareness and responsible citizenship within a nurturing, faith-based environment connected to cultural and community roots.

The philosophy of Sunnybrook is based on the work of Dr. Maria Montessori. Children at Sunnybrook are viewed as being capable and intrinsically motivated learners. The preschool years are a very special time in the life of the child and his/her family. This is a time of natural curiosity and enthusiasm that allow children the opportunity to make deep connections to the world around them.

Haystack connects people through craft. Located on the coast of Maine, Haystack provides the freedom to engage with materials and develop new ideas in a supportive and inclusive community. Serving an ever-changing group of makers and thinkers, we are dedicated to working and learning alongside one another, while exploring the intersections of craft, art, and design in broad and expansive ways.

Fryeburg Academy is an independent secondary school that serves a widely diverse population of local day students and boarding students from across the nation and around the world. The Academy believes that a strong school community provides the best conditions for learning and growth. Therefore, they strive to create a supportive school environment that promotes respect, tolerance, and cooperation and prepares students for responsible citizenship. Within this context, the Academy’s challenging and comprehensive academic program, enriched by a varied co-curriculum, provides the knowledge and skills necessary for success in higher education and the workplace.

Founded in 2013, this small school seeks to bring high-quality preschool education to North Central Austin families. We are a pre-school for children ages 2 to 6. Guided by the Montessori philosophy, we are dedicated to fostering independence, social skills, emotional well-being, and the love of learning. Our classroom is a full-fledged Montessori environment that also offers Spanish lessons, gardening, Art, Music education and more. We believe in the connection between the children and their teachers and friends, therefore our single classroom is low ratio with 25 or less children and 3 teachers in one multi-age class.

The Huaxia East Brunswick Chinese School is a nonprofit organization registered in New Jersey. Five years after Huaxia East Brunswick branch started, the student population has reached nearly 400. The courses we offer have been varied, improved, and have become more diverse. Our missions are to facilitate Chinese language learning, promote the diverse culture to the mainstream society and provide knowledge of the Chinese cultural diversity to the local communities by partnering with parents and concerned citizens. Teaching and learning Chinese systematically has always been a challenge to many oversea Chinese and educators, of which involve many aspects of knowledge and expertise. To meet the growing needs of learning Chinese, Hua xia East Brunswick Chinese School offers a variety of appealing and exciting academic programs: * Chinese as a Heritage Language Program * Chinese as a Second Language Program (CSL)-for those who do not have a Chinese-speaking environment at home * Chinese Art and Culture Program

Saturday Academy strives to engage all motivated young people, including those from under-represented communities, in hands-on, in-depth learning by connecting them to community experts as educators and mentors. Their vision is that all interested, pre-college students in our region will have the opportunity to interact with community experts and experience professional environments in ways that assist them in developing intellectually and preparing for rewarding careers. Saturday Academy's innovative programs are open to all students in grades 2 through 12. They value all learning, and offer experiences in many disciplines. They emphasize science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), because these fields are critical for children's careers and their fast pace of change is difficult to address in traditional school settings. Saturday Academy was founded in 1983, and became an independent 501c3 nonprofit in 2006. Saturday Academy has provided instruction to more than 190,000 students throughout Oregon and SW Washington.
