Aimwell Kids Yoga

Our Purpose: AIMWell Kids partners with schools to offer yoga classes to students while in school. Our purpose stems from research that yoga is an accessible modality of working through trauma, emotions, maintaining and aiding physical health, and forming positive connections. Fund For Armenian Relief

The Fund for Armenian Relief (FAR) is dedicated to improving the lives of Armenians and preparing them for the 21st century. It cares for the most vulnerable populations by providing basic needs, like food, shelter and healthcare, and brings hope and opportunity through its programs, such as educational scholarships, vocational training and research grants. Escuela Adelante provides high quality English and international education in San Juan del Sur and Rivas, Nicaragua. We provide a single, unified and fantastic educational experience both for the growing number of expat students and also the large local community. The AthLife Foundation is a national 501(c)3 non-profit organization, whose aim is to ensure that in our nations most challenged communities, deserving student-athletes can achieve academically, garner the skills to succeed in post-secondary pursuits, and be prepared to compete in their future careers. Marathon Kids

Marathon Kids® is a free, six month running/walking, nutrition and gardening program designed to provide a resonating, elegantly simple fitness and nutrition vehicle for K-5th graders and their families. The mission of Marathon Kids is to build a lifelong love of running and walking, combined with the ability to make and enjoy healthy food choices. We aim to help reduce childhood obesity and type 2 diabetes by moving children and their families from sedentary to non-sedentary lifestyles.

Saint Martin De Porres Academy

Saint Martin de Porres Academy is a faith-based, NativityMiguel middle school that provides a tuition-free, extended-day education for underserved girls and boys from low-income families in the New Haven area. We are an independent Catholic school committed to a belief in the dignity and worth of every person. We strive to provide each child with a promising start in life and to equip them to fulfill their academic potential while achieving spiritual and social maturity. We welcome children of all faiths, races, and cultures.

Reading to Kids

Reading to Kids is a grassroots organization dedicated to inspiring underserved children with a love of reading, thereby enriching their lives and opportunities for success in the future. Reading clubs are on the second Saturday of every month at eight Los Angeles elementary schools. At the monthly reading clubs, pairs of volunteers read aloud to small groups of children, while their parents receive training on how to encourage their children to read at home. Kids, parents, teachers, and school libraries receive book donations at the end of the reading clubs. These are important donations, as 60 percent of low-income homes do not have age-appropriate reading materials for children.
