Friends Western School aims to awaken a love of learning in each child; promote academic excellence; and prepare students to use their knowledge with creativity and compassion. Quaker values, such as peace, simplicity, community, equity and stewardship are integrated into both curriculum and daily practice. Friends Western is a cooperative microschool, where families enjoy a strong sense of community. The Horace Mann School was founded in 1887 as a co-educational experimental and developmental unit of Columbia University's Teachers College. It became financially and administratively independent in 1946, and now is a co-educational college preparatory day school enrolling students in nursery through twelfth grade. Horace Mann seeks to educate and nurture its students and to help them fulfill their potential. To attain this goal, the School provides a challenging and rigorous set of academic and extracurricular programs within a caring and supportive environment. Students are encouraged to test and learn about themselves, to develop a concern for others and to grow intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally. American Friends of Maru a Pula, Inc., or AFMAP, serves as a support organization for MAP in this country. American "friends" include past MAP teachers, students, former workers in Botswana and others interested in encouraging fine education in southern Africa. Founded in 1972, Maru-a-Pula is an independent, non-profit secondary school established as a non-racial institution rooted in Botswana. Maru-a-Pula offers a rigorous curriculum that prepares students for entry to highly selective universities and to pursue challenging careers. Through programs emphasizing self-discipline and community service, each student learns personal and social responsibility. Maru-a-Pula encourages its students to exercise leadership that is compassionate, democratic and tolerant.

The Good Shepherd Nativity Mission School, Inc. seeks to help low-income, urban youth in order to realize their fullest potential as productive members of society by providing them with an extended day, year-round, quality education, integrated with personal, moral and spiritual development and continued guidance during the students’ further education. The Judeo-Christian values which have inspired the Nativity model include a respect for the dignity and potential of each person, a responsibility to assist the poor and those in need, a strong sense of community within the one family of God, and the obligation to promote a society characterized by social justice.  In this Nativity model, students are enrolled without regard to race, color, religion or ethnicity.

Epiphany School is an independent, tuition-free middle school for children of economically disadvantaged families from Boston neighborhoods. We admit children of diverse faiths, races, cultures and cognitive profiles, believing in the Episcopal tradition that we find God in and through each other's presence. Epiphany's small classes, individualized curricula, and extended school days provide rigorous academic, moral and social instruction. To elevate student engagement, and expand the role of music in education by making purposeful, inclusive music a joyful and integral part of literacy, academic, and social-emotional learning throughout the school day, and beyond. We accomplish this by training and equipping inspired educators to integrate hands-on music and songs for learning with classroom instruction, activities, transitions, support services, and building classroom communities. ​Our unique, developmental approach nurtures creative and effective teaching practices through free weekly professional development (PD) courses in ukulele, guitar, and classroom implementation, as well as capacity-building co-teaching artist residencies, intensive workshops, in-service trainings, conference presentations, after school music clubs, and specialized services in adaptive music for inclusion.

Cincinnati Country Day School (CCDS), founded in 1926, is a co-educational college-preparatory school serving pre-primary through twelfth-grade students. Emphasizing educational excellence and character development, CCDS helps each student reach his or her potential by providing a strong academic program, offering opportunities to participate in a wide variety of activities, developing responsible students who respect others, embracing a diverse community, and building self-confidence and self-esteem. Summit Preparatory Charter High School (Summit Prep) is the founding Summit school. Summit Prep is part of the Sequoia Union High School District and serves students in grades 9 through 12. We are centrally located in Redwood City and also serve students from Menlo Park, East Palo Alto, Atherton, Portola Valley, Redwood Shores, Belmont, and other nearby areas The diversity of our student body reflects the demographics of our community. Summit Prep is tuition-free and open to students of all backgrounds, interests, and abilities. Students at Summit Prep have access to a high-quality college preparatory curriculum. Additionally, Summit Prep helps students develop a full range of capabilities – intellectual, emotional, and social – for success in their life’s pursuits. Throughout high school, students work one-on-one with their mentors and in peer groups to develop and exhibit our six core characteristics: Courage, Compassion, Curiosity, Integrity, Respect, and Responsibility.

Founded in 1950, Coast Episcopal School's purpose is to foster a life-long love of learning and to develop each student's potential: intellectually, creatively, emotionally, socially, physically, and spiritually, in preparation for college and life. The Gail Keenan Art Gallery furthers the mission of Coast Episcopal School: fostering a lifelong love of learning while enhancing our longstanding emphasis on both academic excellence and the arts. The mission of the art gallery is to accompany and enhance arts education at CES and its connection to the development of the whole child. The gallery provides a visual space for the students to nurture and express their artistic talents and "experience" themselves as creative contributors to our world. It serves as a teaching resource to enable students to make connections between art and life, while expanding learning opportunities through the robust visiting artists program. Through exhibiting works of regional artists, the gallery serves the community at large and increases awareness of the broad education offered at Coast Episcopal School. The Gail Keenan Art Gallery brings artists from local and regional areas to engage with the students allowing them to better understand themselves and to foster a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

The mission of Minaret Academy is to provide a unique and exemplary education in an Islamic environment.
