Breakthrough New York transforms the lives of talented kids from low-income backgrounds by providing educational support from middle school through college and into careers. We inspire talented young people to enter careers in education through our students-teaching-students model. Our goal is to create leaders who break the cycle of poverty in their families and effect positive change in their communities. Our unique model trains high-performing high school and college students to teach.  We support our younger students on the path through college and teaching interns on the path to careers in education.

The Shark Angels are leading a positive, contagious movement to save sharks – and the oceans. We are a passionate, global community that believes in the power of education, media and local grassroots campaigns. We raise awareness to the critical issues, educate children, change perspectives, and empower and connect advocates to act locally to save sharks and the critical ecosystems they support.

All Hiawatha Academies scholars will be empowered with the knowledge, character, and leadership skills to graduate from college and serve the common good.

The mission of Wondermore is to cultivate children's curiosity, creativity, and academic achievement by igniting in them a love of good books. Through our authors-in-schools program, we bring acclaimed children's authors and illustrators into underserved K-8 schools in Boston for visits and writing workshops that align with the curriculum. We believe that by facilitating powerful interactions between the creators of children’s books and underserved K-8 students in Boston, we help motivate children to become better readers and writers.

Our co-founder Marion Austin strongly believed in empowering our Haitian children with the tools that they need to succeed, knowing they could one day become Christian leaders and role models in the Haitian society.

It is the mission of Arts for Learning Connecticut to engage participants of all ages and abilities in learning creatively through the arts.
