Friends of WLRN, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) incorporated in 1974 and is committed to the support of WLRN Public Radio (NPR 91.3 FM, 101 FM and WKWM 91.5) and Television (PBS Channel 17) whose mission is to provide information, entertainment and life-long learning services to South Florida. The Mission of WLRN Public Radio and Television is to provide information, entertainment, and learning services with a commitment to excellence in serving local, national and international communities. The Vision of WLRN Public Radio and Television is to be the most trusted, valued, and supported public media organization in South Florida.

Roland Park Country School, a college preparatory school for girls, is dedicated to the intellectual, aesthetic, physical and moral development of its students. While maintaining high academic standards, it upholds tradition and promotes innovation. It encourages self-discipline, independence of thought, tenacity of purpose, creativity, and spiritual well-being. It also fosters personal integrity, respect for others, an appreciation of diversity, and a cooperative, resilient spirit. RPCS values the friendly atmosphere of mutual trust inherent in an inclusive community. THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED AND SHALL BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE OR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1954, AS AMENDED, OR THE CORRESPONDING PROVISION OR PROVISIONS OF ANY SUBSEQUENT UNITED STATES INTERNAL REVENUE LAW OR LAWS (HEREIN COLLECTIVELY CALLED THE "CODE"). WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE FOREGOING PURPOSES, AND NOT BY THE WAY OF LIMIATION THEREOF, THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED TO SUPPORT ATHLETIC PROGRAMS AT THE HIGHLAND PARK INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT ("HPISD") AND THOSE EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES RELATED THERETO AND TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE HIGHLAND PARK EDUCATION TRUST FUND THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF WHICH IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION THROUGH THE GRANTING OF COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TO CHILDREN OF FACULTY MEMBERS EMPLOYED BY THE HPISD. THE ASSETS AND PROPERTIES OF THE CORPORTAION ARE HEREBY PLEDGED FOR USE IN PERFORMING ITS EXEMPT FUNCTIONS.

THE KENOSHA MONTESSORI SCHOOL STRIVES TO CULTIVATE AND HONOR CHILDREN'S INNATE LOVE OF LEARNING AS THEY PREPARE FOR A LIFE OF PURPOSE, INTEGRITY, AND ACADEMIC ACCOMPLISHMENT. KMS ADHERES TO THE MONTESSORI PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATING THE "WHOLE CHILD", THROUGH THE USE OF SELF-DIRECTED INSTRUCTION AND SELF-CORRECTING MATERIALS. WE AIM TO GIVE THE STUDENTS THE SKILLS AND CONFIDENCE TO MEET THE CHALLENGES OF SELF, FAMILY,, COMMUNITY, AND THE WORLD AT LARGE. THE BASIC GOALS OF KMS INCLUDE: 1. TO CULTIVATE THE CHILD'S SENSE OF BEAUTY. 4. TO ASSIST IN INTEGRATED GROWTH. 5. TO ENCOURAGE PERSISTENT EFFORT IN THE PURSUIT OF KNOWLEDGE. 6. TO GIVE EACH CHILD, THROUGH OUR RESPECTFUL TREATMENT OF HIM/HER, A BELIEF IN HIS/HER OWN HUMAN DIGNITY AND THAT OF OTHERS AND TO HELP HIM/HER ATTAIN TRUST IN THE WORTH OF HIS/HER OWN WORK AND WORDS.
