Founded in 1923, John Burroughs School is a coeducational, college preparatory school for grades 7-12. Founded in 1908, the Katherine Delmar Burke School (Burke's) is an independent, non-sectarian elementary school. The Latin School of Chicago, founded in 1888, is a co-educational independent day school for students in grades junior kindergarten through twelve.
