Daraja is a secondary boarding school established for Kenyan girls with top academic scores and exceptional leadership skills but no means of continuing their education. Beyond a full scholarship and academic rigor, the academy provides shelter, food, healthcare and counseling services so students may focus on their academic and personal potential without the everyday barriers they would otherwise face. Our groundbreaking educational model has generated a community of students filled with intellectual curiosity and a hunger to learn.

Founded in 2000, the Maasai Girls Education Fund works to improve the literacy, health and economic well-being of Maasai women in Kenya and their families through education of girls and their communities.

The COVID-19 Student Resource Food Fund sends funds to No Kid Hungry to help provide necessary nutrition as students lose access to meals. With many schools closing during the coronavirus outbreak, children may lose access to critical meals. No Kid Hungry is advocating for the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide flexibility in how kids access meals during this time and for Congress to make sure SNAP is maximized for struggling families. The Brookline Education Foundation advances the quality of public education in Brookline by raising private funds and distributing them to support innovative teaching, effective administrative leadership, and broad-based community participation in the Brookline Schools.

The Saratoga Education Foundation was established in 1982 by concerned parents when the government funding for schools was diminishing in a powerful effort to help sustain the level of excellence in classrooms for all students in the district. The foundation continues to support many important programs such as PE, art, music, libraries, technology and science in the four SUSD schools.
