Our educational goal is to create responsible global citizens through a global education. And it is this commitment that has driven the unified educators of the foundation to develop programmes and practices that nurture students to become global thinkers. The one-of-a-kind bilingual, bi-cultural education methodology created by the foundation is shared among our international network of schools that span two continents. Yew Chung has pioneered a new paradigm in international education. We define an international education by what goes on inside the student. It is about the internal transformation of the child. This is affected by the international school’s culture, which is created by the teaching and learning environment, the administration, the overall content and process which links to the character formation of the child. The international education ethos that Yew Chung reflects can be seen in the content and process of education that leads our students to an inner transformation whereby they are both Eastern and Western.

All Our Kin is a Connecticut-based nonprofit organization that trains, supports, and sustains community child care providers to ensure that children and families have the foundation they need to succeed in school and in life. Through our programs, child care professionals succeed as business owners; working parents find stable, high-quality care for their children; and children gain an educational foundation that lays the groundwork for achievement in school and beyond. Our vision: child care providers will have access to training and education opportunities, livable wages and benefits, and respect for a hard job done well. Parents will be honored and supported in their difficult work of caring for children, and have access to safe, loving, educational child care options when they go to work. And children, regardless of where they live, their racial or ethnic background, or how much money their parents earn, will begin their lives with all the advantages, tools, and experiences that we, as a society, are capable of giving them.

​Seneca Village Montessori School is an African centered preschool built on the Montessori philosophy that strives to nourish the mind, body and spirit of its students. ​Our mission is to promote social responsibility, and work toward instilling a strong sense of self, cultural identity, and belonging in our students. The Sherman Oaks Cooperative Preschool has been welcoming children and parents since 1955. We are a unique program that offers both indoor spaces and a large outdoor classroom. We provide a developmentally appropriate program that is supported by an emergent curriculum. Our daily routine fosters the social, emotional, cognitive, large/fine motor and language development of each child. We emphasize positive communication and the use of problem solving tools. Our goal is to build a foundation to support social and intellectual competence both at school and at home.

Nestled in the nation’s capital in the richest museum complex in the world is the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center, a model early childhood program that places children at the center of every experience. The vast collections are the foundation for the culturally diverse curriculum, which offers a rare opportunity for learning. As an organization, SEEC is a leader in the field of museum-based education and influences practice within museums and schools. Our educators apply best practices recognized in the early childhood field and enrich the children’s learning through an object-based approach to teaching, sharing the rich stories associated with these objects in ways that make the curriculum deeper and richer. Museum educators within the program build on the practice established within the SEEC model, serving as content experts on the museums and blending theory and practice as a basis for outside consulting and professional development.
