Settlement Music School's mission is to provide children and adults in the Philadelphia region with high quality instruction and activity in music and the related arts. Settlement's programs help students achieve artistic, educational and social goals. Settlement serves the broadest possible constituency, regardless of age, gender, race, color, creed, national origin, physical ability or ability to pay.

Neighborhood House Nursery School is operated by the Neighborhood Association, a non-profit, community-based organization. Opened in 1920 and located in a charming Victorian house just one block from Taylor Park, the NHNS provides a home away from home environment where children learn to love the process of learning and discovery. NHNS also creates a unique opportunity to connect learning to our natural environment with the use of our garden area. The pre-school program is open to children of parents who live or work in Millburn/Short Hills and the surrounding communities. Our staff works diligently to prepare each child for the transition to elementary school through fostering confidence, self-awareness and the ability to connect all learning to the world in which we live.

The COVID-19 Student Resource Food Fund sends funds to No Kid Hungry to help provide necessary nutrition as students lose access to meals. With many schools closing during the coronavirus outbreak, children may lose access to critical meals. No Kid Hungry is advocating for the U.S. Department of Agriculture to provide flexibility in how kids access meals during this time and for Congress to make sure SNAP is maximized for struggling families. The mission of the Community Nursery School of Wilton (CNSW) is to prepare each child to lead a resourceful, resilient and responsible life within a supportive community teachers and families. Begun in 1938, Community provides a nurturing environment that incorporates playful learning in the development of the life skills children need to become successful individuals and to generate meaningful friendships. For each child, we encourage a spirit of free inquiry, a rich and creative imagination, and compassion for others; enabling students to understand, respect and navigate the world.

The Children’s Corner is an eclectic preschool whose mission is to nurture student growth through creative learning in a loving, safe environment. Founded in 2004, our school is a parent driven non-profit focused on providing high quality education to families at an affordable cost.

HIPPY programs empower parents as primary educators of their children in the home and foster parent involvement in school and community life to maximize the chances of successful early school experiences. HIPPY USA supports the development and operation of programs in communities across the United States through ongoing program development and technical assistance informed by research and public policy.
