Community Education Partnerships

In 2010, Community Education Partnerships (CEP) incorporated with the mission of increasing learning opportunities and enhancing the academic achievement of students experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. Specifically, CEP works to ensure that all CEP students perform at or above grade level, are on track to graduate high school or receive an equivalent certificate, are socially and emotionally prepared for academic transitions, and find the joy and purpose of education. To achieve these goals, CEP recruits, screens, and trains volunteers to provide high-quality, individualized one-on-one academic tutoring and mentoring for pre-K – 12th-grade unhoused and unstably housed students.

The Literacy Project Foundation

The Literacy Project is a regional education nonprofit committed to developing student reading skills. Our mission is to eliminate the literacy gap of emerging 2nd-graders who are functionally illiterate. We believe raising reading achievement will prepare students for academic and life success.

Yes We Can World Foundation

We believe every child has the right to an education regardless of their location, legal status and/or economic background. The Yes We Can Mobile Schools Program is the first bilingual school program for migrant children at the US-MX border. The program currently operates 3 school in the border cities of Tijuana and Ciudad Juarez. The program has enrolled over 1,700 migrant children. The program operates full time from Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm and is taught by accredited teachers. In the program migrant children are given access to full bilingual interactive classrooms, play areas and access to technology.

BOYS MENTORING ADVOCACY NETWORK

Boys Mentoring Advocacy Network (BMAN) is an international Non-Governmental Organization incorporated in Nigeria and the USA. BMAN was established to cultivate boys and young adult males with the tools to help them navigate the process of becoming positive and empowered adult males who will Love, Inspire, Value and Educate others in their society. The mission of BMAN is to develop boys to standout by standing up, equip boys to be excellent and nonviolent communicators, teach boys ethical literacy, and to train boys to learn and appreciate their own self-worth on their journey to healthy, caring, respectful and responsible manhood.
