Nearly three quarters of the earth is covered by ocean, and changes to the marine environment have a direct effect on the planet, the environment, and ultimately, our lives. Yet mankind continues to dump, pollute, overfish, and in a variety of other ways, contribute to the demise of the ocean and the lives of its inhabitants. The Center for Oceanic Awareness, Research, and Education seeks to enlighten people, young and old, to the plight of the oceans, to change the way they think and act, and to encourage them to create positive and lasting change.

The mission of the conflict center is to reduce levels of physical, verbal and emotional violence, teaching practical, nonviolent methods for dealing with conflict and anger. Founded in colorado in 1987, the organization works with individuals and groups in a variety of settings, involving them in exercises that teach communication skills, consequences, negotiation, values clarification, win-win outcomes, and problem-solving skills. Our three major program areas are school programs, organizations (including business, neighborhoods, congregations, and families), and youth at risk. We teach conflict management, anger management, and parenting. We apply three processes for individuals and groups in conflict: facilitation, mediation, and negotiation. We provide services based on a sliding fee scale and are committed to providing 50% of services to people in poverty.

Olalo's Mission is to help break the cycle of poverty by building strong communities by working with various partners and communities to empower individuals and families with opportunities for the furtherance of education, healthcare and skills needed to affect life change within their communities. We are Bridging Kenyans to Education, Healthcare and Life Change.

Student Global Ambassador Program (SGAP Leaders) empowers underserved teens to become agents of change in their communities and beyond by thinking critically, applying STEM, and championing social justice. Our workshops challenge our teens from different schools, regions and countries to think critically around real issues that affect real lives; as a result they develop leadership and team building skills; and through the process, they gain a voice and feel empowered.

Sisterhood Agenda is an award-winning, tax-exempt nonprofit organization that creates and implements activities for women and girls around the globe for education, support and empowerment. Sisterhood Agenda promotes positive social change and has over 6,000 global partners in 36 countries. Global partners create an extensive sisterhood network to increase local organization capacity and unite women and girls. Sisterhood Agenda's SEA (Sisterhood Empowerment Academy), based in the U.S. Virgin Islands, attracts international participants. On global and local levels, Sisterhood Agenda addresses social, health, economic and cultural issues facing women and girls to promote positive life outcomes. Sisterhood Agenda's social impact is expanded through partnerships with agencies, individuals and businesses throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, India, the Caribbean, United Kingdom, Africa, Australia, and other geographic regions. We envision a world where important stories are told by the communities who know them best in order to inform laws, systems and policies that promote justice and equality for all. To make that vision a reality, p.h. balanced films supports women working toward social justice and policy change through multi-day knowledge exchange sessions on the use of film and storytelling for advocacy purposes and a mentorship program to provide ongoing, global support of their efforts.
