By realizing its goals, the Association promotes basic human rights and the quality of life of blind and other disabled people, as well as children with developmental difficulties, creating conditions for their social inclusion in the community. The Association's mission is to raise society's awareness of the rights, possibilities and needs of people with disabilities, which contributes to the senzibilization of the community and the increase of the number of independent people, through improving their mobility and quality of everyday life. The association bases its work with individuals, informal groups and non-profit organizations, the business sector, local, regional and state authorities on the principles of empowerment, self-help, education, active involvement, launching positive initiatives, encouraging cooperation, mutual respect and respect for diversity, creating a sustainable model of organizational development civil society. It encourages and develops the self-advocacy role of its members in the promotion of human rights in the context of the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, legal regulations and national strategic documents. It provides mechanisms for the application of prescribed standards and criteria for the work of users with their assigned assistance dogs.

Our mission is to develop and promote DAISY (Digital Accessible Information System) format in Taiwan to enable people with acquired visual disabilities equal access to information and knowledge. Our goals include to produce talking books in DAISY format, to train visually impaired people to access computers and internet with screen reader of NVDA (Non-Visual Desktop Access), and to provide people suffering from visual loss with vocational training and counseling.

The U.S. Association for International Migration (USAIM) is the nonprofit partner of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the United States. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, USAIM seeks to empower migrants. Through outreach, education, and fundraising USAIM aims to raise awareness about the reality of migration while encouraging positive action. The Mission of the Turkish Education Association : To establish schools that provide education in Turkish and foreign languages and open dormitories for students' accommodation. To establish schools and raise highly-qualified students. To provide successful students with the opportunity to continue their education by granting scholarships throughout the country. To create scientific platforms in order to increase educational standards. To raise public awareness on the problems and solutions of the education system through research projects. To contribute to Turkish education policies.

The GWHS Alumni Association ensures GWHS' status as San Francisco's leading comprehensive public high school, enabling faculty to provide all students with opportunity for academic success at GWHS and beyond, and strengthen graduates' bonds with each other and with GWHS, by: - funding over $33,000 in fiscal year 2021-22 to teachers and coaches for classroom supplies and student activities. - giving over $28,000 in scholarships to over 3 dozen deserving graduating seniors in May 2022. - sharing alumni and school news and publicizing reunions and related events to over 6,600 alumni members by mail, email and social media. - honoring distinguished graduates with Hall of Merit and Lifetime Service Awards. - preserving and documenting GWHS' rich history with personal interviews and archiving artifacts and ephemera we plan to display in a permanent location.
