The South Eastern Medical Interpreter Association provides continuing education opportunities and a forum for medical interpreters and translators to exchange ideas and experiences. SEMIA supports medical interpreter training in order to facilitate access to health care and other fundamental services for limited-English proficient and marginalized communities. The Association promotes professionalism and public awareness of the importance of providing quality interpretation services in health care. Purpose and Objectives: To increase professional and public awareness of the importance of providing qualified interpretation services in healthcare. To enhance the professional image of translators and interpreters in the healthcare industry. To contribute to improving the standards and professional ethics, practices and competency of medical interpreters. To strive to protect the rights and interests of professional medical interpreters and translators. National Disability & Development Forum (NDF)

National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) is a registered and PCP certified non-profit organization that has been working in Sindh in the fields of Disability Rights, Health, Education, Environment/Alternative Energy, Food Security & Nutrition, Poverty Reduction, WASH, DRR/CBDRM, Democratization and Gender Mainstreaming since 2014. Ecuadorian Volunteers Association

EVA is a non-profit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and registered in the State of Illinois. It was created for the purpose of assisting Ecuadorian institutions devoted to educational, social, and health programs for the poor, neglected, and at-risk segments of the population. EVA is run by volunteers, and the various programs are implemented through network of viable, non-profit Ecuadorian institutions previously selected by a careful screening process. EVA requires that all the funds collected and distributed as yearly grants be only used for programmatic objectives of the organization it sponsors. EVA's Community Assistance Grant was instituted in 2008 to improve the quality of life of economically disadvantaged people living in the Chicago Metropolitan area where EVA is located. I Since its inception, we have been giving opportunities to advance educational, health, and human service programs in the local community.

Yachana's mission is to provide community-based solutions to poverty and environmental degradation in the rain forest. The future of the tropical forest is inextricably linked to the well-being of its inhabitants. Our socially conscious tourism and training programs are simultaneously conserving the rain forest and providing opportunities in income generation, micro-finance, health, sustainability and entrepreneurism for the people of the region.

WENET has a Team of 26 dedicated Staff & Volunteers, 25 of whom are Ugandans, 18 Youths, 8 Women and 9 teenage Youths! WENET works in many thematic areas to ensure diversified comprehensive approaches to the target Mission; and we employ low-cost but high impact approaches, generate community-driven solutions to local challenges aligned to global Needs, and do take Affordable, Achievable & Sustainable transformative actions!
