826LA is a nonprofit organization with locations in Mar Vista and Echo Park; a satellite location at Manual Arts Senior High School; and relationships with more than 100 Los Angeles schools. We are dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. Our services are structured around the understanding that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention and that strong writing skills are fundamental to students’ future success. With this approach and objective in mind, we provide in-school tutoring, assistance with student publications, after-school tutoring, workshops, and help for English language learners All of our programs are free, and our overriding goal is to help our students find their voice and give them the power to express that voice with creativity and confidence.

Open Hands Community Project is a community development program designed to provide students in low-income communities a safe, free after-school program. The goal of the program is to equip and empower students with the tools they need to help them better their lives by partnering with local schools and focusing on Education, Bible Study and Lifeskills while providing for everyday day needs and helping them find a hope for their future. In Jan of 2018, we opened a small subsidized High School offing quality education in a loving and encouraging environment for students who have a desire to succeed but the public system has failed. All of our students come from families who cannot afford a quality High School. We currently have 6 students with the ability to take 5 more for next year.

Our mission is to develop new ideas and implement new solutions to address the short and long-term threats to elephant survival, providing them a new future free of cruelty and death at the hands of humans. Our unique approach of developing communities that will end poaching and illegal trafficking, implementing humane economies within host countries and by creating non-invasive research facilities, we will bring transformational change to this epic struggle while bettering the lives of the indigenous population and the host government. The Elephant Project will create self-sustaining and self-funding sanctuaries and communities reducing the need to constantly fundraise for the project. This project is designed to be a model that can be used all over the world to protect endangered species, better the economies of the host country, provide skills training, jobs, healthcare and educational opportunities for the indigenous population.

THE MISSION OF THE BEE CAUSE PROJECT IS TO ENSURE FUTURE GENERATIONS ARE STEWARDS OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT WHO UNDERSTAND, ENGAGE, AND ARE INSPIRED BY THE WONDER OF HONEY BEES WHILE BEING EMPOWERED TO TAKE ACTION THROUGH CAREERS IN STEM.

WomensTrust empowers impoverished women and girls with the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and build a better future for themselves, their families and communities, and the world. We do this by providing access to education, healthcare and economic development.

MAKING KIDS SMILE AGAIN Tabitha Home is committed to rehabilitating and transforming the vulnerable children (sexually abused, neglected,no access to basic needs or child rights) to lead fulfilling lives and have a positive future.

The mission of Rideshare2Vote Aware is to nurture the emergence of future political leaders by fostering interest, awareness, and empowering courageous participation. We achieve this mission through civic engagement, voter outreach, the AwareRides transport-to-the-polls program, and a paid internship initiative.Built on the foundational belief that empowerment and education are pivotal in shaping the authenticity of our future voters and political leaders, Rideshare2Vote Aware strives to amplify the voices of every generation. CHANGING LIVES ONE BOOK AT A TIME To foster good reading habits and develop a love of books and reading at an early age, In A World With Books provides free books for disadvantaged and underprivileged children.

Musical Mentors Collaborative is a nonprofit that provides free, student-centered music instruction to students who would not otherwise have access to private lessons, addressing structural inequities in music education.

Genesis Foundation seeks to create a more inclusive society for Colombian children by improving the quality of their education. We enhance programs that provide children in vulnerable life situations with valuable opportunities to develop and achieve a better future.
