Founded in 1983, The Wooden Floor is one of the most progressive arts-for-youth nonprofit organizations in the country. We transform the lives of young people in low-income communities through the power of dance and access to higher education. In Orange County and through our national licensed partners, we use a long-term approach grounded in exploratory dance education to foster the resources within each child to innovate, communicate, and collaborate – skills necessary for success in school and in life. 100 percent of students who graduate from The Wooden Floor immediately enroll in higher education. Our students become change agents and beacons of hope within their own families, their neighborhoods, our community, and our world.

W/NP is a progressive and viable humanitarian service organization actively implementing programs in both Wisconsin and Nicaragua. W/NP's goals are to promote mutual understanding and establish lasting relationships among citizens and institutions of Wisconsin and Nicaragua; foster volunteerism and self-help attitudes through the implementation of economic and social development projects; leverage development assistance funds from public and private sources.

We offer Central Americans hope and the opportunity to overcome poverty by promoting democracy and prosperity through community libraries that spark a spirit of discovery and foster citizen participation.

Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center preserves the legacy of the Holocaust by teaching universal lessons that combat hatred, prejudice, and indifference, and by inspiring audiences to be Upstanders who speak out for what’s right – turning powerful lessons of history into positive actions today. We activate this mission through world-class exhibitions, public programming, educational initiatives, and partnerships that bring diverse communities together to understand history and contemporary human rights issues. The Museum reaches and impacts the lives of more than 180,000 people of all ages and diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds annually, empowering them with the knowledge, skills, and courage to take a stand for humanity.

Village Exchange Center (VEC) is a non-profit organization formed to serve immigrants and refugees in the Aurora/Denver metro area. As a community center and multi-faith worship space it seeks to celebrate cultural and religious diversity by creating an inclusive environment where different communities interact, share and develop together. Through organic and co-located programs, informational services and cultural activities, the center will be a "one stop shop" supporting integration, engagement and empowerment of newly arrived communities. VEC will have an overarching goal of creating bridges between people and communities, both locally and globally.

CIM develops peacebuilding programs to foster peace and reconciliation among different ethnic and religious groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our activities are designed to bring about comprehensive social change focusing on youth.
