NCPTA is North Carolina’s oldest and largest volunteer organization advocating for the education, health, safety, and success of all children and youth while building strong families and communities.

The Young Women’s Empowerment Foundation (YWE) is dedicated to strengthening the self-esteem, character, integrity and capacity of young women ages 14-20 so that they may achieve their highest potential. YWE accomplishes its purpose through strategic partnerships with other organizations. In particular, YWE partners with public and private secondary schools to intercede in the lives of young women to prevent or overcome life crises through: counseling targeted at the at the individual’s circumstances training and working with school counseling staff using YWE’s research-based curriculum instruction on the positive attributes of women support services based on the individual’s needs

Our mission is clear, simply stated, and straightforward: We strive to build and ensure the right of every individual to live a life worthy of legacy; a life of rich experiences that challenge the body, expand the mind, and grow the soul. We are dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities for learners with diverse needs, their families and those that support them.

EBARR was founded in 2008. It was born out of the belief that there was a need in the community for a high quality rescue group that accepts cats and dogs (under certain conditions) from the community. Since our inception we have had thousands of adoptions of orphaned animals; many community surrenders and cats and dogs that were at risk of being euthanized at the local animal shelters.

JMJ Mission: We are a Catholic homeschool support group, whose mission is to support homeschooling moms by providing educational and social opportunities for JMJ children in a loving environment that promotes Catholic values. JMJ has been a non-profit organization for several years and was founded in 2005 by a group of astute and faith filled mothers who went to great lengths to devise a sustainable vocation to support homeschool families based on the model of the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary, and Joseph (JMJ).

Because all children deserve excellent teachers, the Golden Apple Foundation advances the teaching profession by recognizing excellent teachers, leveraging their thinking and efforts to improve education, recruiting and preparing prospective teachers with a special emphasis on schools of need, and providing teachers access to innovative resources.

B.U.O.Y. Foundation is a faith-based, non profit, 501(c)3 organization that exists to help youth in Prince William county and surrounding areas develop into well rounded, positive, contributing members of society. Utilizing educational, professional development and spiritual resources we endeavor to provide academic support to supplement the education youth receive in the public school system. Our program offerings include private tutoring, college preparation seminars, college tours, academic summer programs and other educational and social services that will build and develop youth academically, spiritually, and socially.

Improve the quality of life of the Montagnard people of Charlotte by enabling them to become fully integrated, self sufficient, productive, contributing members of society through language, educational, social, economic, and spiritual support.

Founded in 2004, the Kenadi Jean Weis Foundation was created to honor our little June bug who passed away unexpectedly at age five. It is our mission to assist all children with special needs and their families achieve fulfilled lives through support, resources, respite care, volunteerism, and advocacy.

To bring life and learning opportunities to Edina Public Schools students who are economically disadvantaged. We do this by removing financial barriers to participation in athletic, arts and academic activities for students. We are focused on closing the opportunity gap and increasing access and engagement for students.

Alliance For School Choice is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving our nation's system of K-12 education by advancing systemic and sustainable public policy that empowers parents.

Our Mission: Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) is a national 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization which provides case management services and financial aid to Americans with chronic, life threatening and debilitating illnesses. Our Equity Value Statement: Equity moves us forward, calling us to address the legacy of deeply established societal inequities in healthcare and workplace systems. We identify and eliminate barriers to equitable access in the healthcare systems that our patients utilize and in the workplace our staff experience. We commit to diversity and inclusion strategies that enable equitable outcomes in our leadership, practices, policies, operations and organizational systems because doing so strengthens our ability to deliver on our mission.
