The Milwaukee Area Health Education Center (Milwaukee-AHEC) connects students to careers, professionals to communities, and communities to better health. Since 1992, Milwaukee-AHEC has worked to forge collaborative partnerships with health-related employers, community-based organizations, academic institutions, and other sectors to advance community and public health that will impact health outcomes.

Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH) was created in 2001 in response to the HIV crisis in western Kenya. It is built on a partnership between Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital and the Moi University School of Medicine in Eldoret, Kenya, and a consortium of North American academic health centers, led by Indiana University. The partners joined forces to create one of Africa's largest, most comprehensive and effective HIV/AIDS management and control systems. AMPATH is a formal partner with the United States government through a $75 million grant from USAID and has continually expanded its successful HIV approach to into a more comprehensive primary health care system. With a tri-partite mission of care, education, and research, AMPATH provides healthcare services to a population of 3.5 million people in western Kenya and focuses on improving the health and wellbeing of the entire population-leaving no one behind.

Our mission is to ensure that refugee families are provided access to an education sufficient to prepare them to become economically self-sufficient and robustly engaged in American civic life.

To educate women and girls in Nigeria about good health, to empower them with different skills acquisition and support them financially to have a good lifestyle. To build health care centers for pregnant women and destitute homes to affect women lives in positive ways. To provide good foods to the poorest communities and also educate them on advantages for eating healthy foods. And advantages for going to health centers for health care and vaccines for children. To advocate for free healthcare, free vaccines and free medicines for girls, women and children to reduce death rate and to keep them alive. To advocate that pregnant women should be given a free medical attention till after delivery of their babies.

To promote and implement a social development programme for the Anglican Church in Southern Africa for the improvement of the Spiritual, Physical and Emotional Well Being of the Poor and Oppressed People of Africa on a non-denominational basis. The Horace Mann League exists to perpetuate the ideals of Horace Mann, the founder of the American public school system. Its basic purpose and activities are to strengthen our public schools. The League believes that the public school system of the United States is an indispensable agency for the perpetuation of the ideals of our democracy and a most necessary unifying and dynamic influence in American life.
