Our mission is to increase the chances for children to succeed as future readers, learners, and citizens by filling their homes and lives with quality books. Our organizational goals are: • Close the book gap for children living in poverty by providing free collections of books • Improve kindergarten readiness and support literacy development by partnering with existing early education programs to provide books at critical stages of development • Engage the greater community in the collection, repair, bundling, and distribution of new and used children's books • Raise awareness of the learning challenges created by lack of books in the home in support of the greater effort to improve literacy
