Fundacion Bahia y Ecosistemas de Colombia is a non-governmental non-profit organization created with the purpose of cleaning the bay of Cartagena and its surrounding bodies, protecting their ecosystems and promoting the adaptation of the city to climate change. We are an organization that brings together people and institutions with vast experience in the environmental and business sector of the city, committed to improving the bay of Cartagena and the city. The Foundation is guided by the best science available and seeks the financial sustainability of all the projects it undertakes. Our basic lines of action are: Improve water quality of the bay and surrounding bodies; Protection and restoration of key species and ecosystems for the health of the bay and nearby bodies; and Actions to adapt or mitigate climate change in the city.

Our mission is to facilitate integral and sustainable prosperity in rural families and their environment, discovering and strengthening their potential, cooperating with companies, governments and local institutions. We are a non-profit civil association based in the city of Cusco, Peru. We have implemented proven projects to eradicate poverty in more than 280 rural communities in various countries around the world. In Peru, since 2008, in Tanzania since 2015 and in Nepal since 2016. The methodology we use in Pachamama Raymi, is a training system that was developed since 1988 by our president, we implemented it with the same elements in the various projects we promote. Some of these elements are used by other institutions in Latin America, Europe and Africa, such as contests between families. Our main objective is to break the vicious circle of environmental degradation and rural poverty, making communities and rural families improve, substantially and sustainably, the management of their natural resources, achieving prosperity. We don't have political or religious affiliation, we do have concrete goals in the task of eradicating poverty, through the promotion of sustainable practices. Our Objectives are: Break the vicious circle of environmental degradation and rural poverty in 90% of the communities where we work, achieving within three consecutive years that more than 60% of the population change the management of their natural resources for one that generates the recovery of such resources and prosperity. Get 60% of the families of each community to obtain: - Dignified and healthy homes, with food security. - Productive activities that in the short term generate income, almost constant during the year, above the level of the country's minimum wage. - Raise the self-esteem of the farmers with an optimistic vision of their future. - The plantation of 1,000 forest trees per family per year, with a percentage of tree life higher than 80% that will provide them with long-term income.

MAITS is an international disability charity whose mission is to improve the lives of some of the world's poorest people with developmental disabilities and the lives of their families, through better access to and quality of health and education services and support. We provide education, training and support for those working with and caring for persons with developmental disabilities such as cerebral palsy, autism and global learning disabilities to ensure they are able to achieve their full potential in a way that is sustainable and inclusive. We support people with disabilities in the following ways: The training of healthcare and education professionals, community workers, families and carers- to better understand their conditions and build their skills and knowledge to ensure persons with disabilities have better access to and improved quality of services. The development of training materials and resources on disability- the training materials are tested out and adapted to the local context, and when needed, translated into the local language, to ensure high quality care for those with disabilities. Linking organisations that need training with those who are able to provide it- through our website and through our database of 208 volunteer therapists and educators. In addition to facilitating face-to-face training, MAITS has an ongoing programme of resource development, designing tools that assist in the support and inclusion of individuals with particular needs, whether it be at home, school, in healthcare provisions or elsewhere in the community, in low-resource settings. We have a small team of specialists who create resources and we connect those looking for training with those who can provide it. Our mission is to improve the lives of some of the world's poorest people with developmental disabilities and the lives of their families, through better access to and quality of health and education services and support.

APF's mission is to reinforce the community of Fondwa Haiti, as well as, other local grassroots organizations throughout Haiti so that they can create wealth in their own rural communities. The current APF Programs in Fondwa include: - Basic Infrastructure creation and improvement (roads, buildings, irrigation, etc.); - Environmental protection, renewable energy, and reforestation (solar power, tree planting, agricultural best practices, etc.) - Access to drinking water, health care, financial services, and food security (potable water, clinic, credit union, orphanage, radio station, etc.) - Education through a primary/secondary school for 600+ regional children and Haiti's first rural peasant university - Small businesses including Restaurant Lakay, construction material depot and transportation services - Several post-earthquake construction projects continue

OUR MISSION IS: education, entrepreneurship and international cooperation Summary During 2012 I quitted my job in a Bank, which I was doing almost twenty-six years because the question of financial certainty was imposed as a priority I decided to change something because I knew that the job I was doing was not something I wanted to do for the rest of my life During 2012 experts in the Liberal academy in Ljubljana , Slovenia encouraged me and helped me in the development of ideas I spent some time on the Institute of Employment during 2012, where I was confronted with many problems but instead, chose to look for opportunities Unemployment gave me the possibility to realize new ideas. Through my workshops I teach my participants how to think like entrepreneurs and also how to avoid bureaucracy First I opened GOTA, a small business for marketing and consulting and after that I opened Association for education, entrepreneurship and international cooperation LIBERA It took almost 7o days to open a business, which at first demotivated me, but I told myself not to give up I realized that the future entrepreneurs do not have adequate information, regardless of the number of agencies and all kinds of services that put in our offer to help My idea was to invent a workshop for unemployed people to help them in starting business. I called my workshop WE CREATE OUR OWN BUSINESS. In a period of five days I teach them about developing ideas, strategy, company, expenses, business plans and supporting activities from employment office. And also in the workshop I gathered all the knowledge from my first entrepreneurial steps. I feel that I'm fullfilling my mission as a person, and as an entrepreneur. Especially, when I see my students on the first day of the workshop totally demotivated, opposite to the last days of the workshop where they become interested in making their first steps in business Until now there had been held 4 workshops in August 2013 in CISOK centre (of Croatian Employment Office), address Knez Viseslav 7, Zagreb, which were attended by 55 women, age 20- 55 Until now there had been held almost 133 workshops during 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 in a Centre for Culture Tresnjevka, which were attended by cca 950 men and women, age 20-55 By current informations cca 30% of the attenders started their own business. Starting a job in Croatia is not easy, and for that reason a large number of young people left their country.This is one of the reasons that we focus our activities on children and on the development of projects that will promote entrepreneurship at this time, as well as the development of projects that will address the issue of mental health in children due to their dependence on mobile phones and other techniques.

Equip Manyatta is a charity organization created to assist a community-based organization in Western Kenya, the Manyatta Youth Resource Center (MYRC). The officers of Equip Manyatta were instrumental in assisting community members in Kisumu to establish the MYRC. The mission of the MYRC is to increase opportunities for youth living in the slums of Manyatta, Kisumu to participate in sporting activities and the performing arts, to provide health education, support school attendance, and to build the organization into a self sustaining enterprise. Manyatta is the largest slum in Western Kenya and is home to over 60,000 people living in an area of five square miles with little in the way of urban infrastructure. Kisumu is the third largest city in Kenya, with roughly 578,000 people. Other goals include providing activities that engage youth in positive endeavors to avoid delinquency, encouraging school attendance and fostering peaceful forms of communication to avoid the sort of vicious violence experienced in the area after the last national election.

We women is a foundation that strives to achieve equality for various groups of people in the world. The foundation assists women, refugees, ethnic minorities, and disadvantaged groups with their questions, struggles and needs, as they are formulated within their own terms. Academic research is the first step in this process because it helps to gain insight into local beliefs, practices and ambitions. The key areas of We women's engagement include personal growth, social inclusion, (mental) health, education, and the encouragement of creative initiatives, with the ultimate goal of achieving equality for all. The We women foundation has been based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, since 2010, where we have been developing and implementing the We women from Burma Project. This project promotes the education and well-being of unrecognized refugee women from Burma. The Foundation targets women whose passions, goals and motivations implicate them as future leaders of Burma. We women provides a much needed service to women from Burma by offering them the opportunity to succeed in higher education. Each year the We women foundation supports a select number of qualified women as they prepare themselves for leadership in their country and communities. We women assists students as they prepare themselves for university by advising them during the application process and throughout their job search. During each woman's period of study, the We women foundation provides scholarship funding for their university tuition, as well as academic tutoring and coaching. In order to provide long-term support, We women assists its alumni in their search for positions as they enter the professional world. The long-term aim of the We women from Burma project is to assist unrecognized refugee women into obtaining higher positions within policy making or influential organizations so that they then can empower other women and their communities, on their own terms.In order to realise our long-term objective, the We women foundation intends to make higher education accessible for the future female leaders of Burma. In addition, we assist them where possible in the process of professional development. To this end we have developed a number of short-term goals: To ensure prospective students have the necessary qualifications and documentation to be admitted to a university of their choice, so they can make well informed and realistic decisions about their future education. To grant scholarships to the most promising students, so they can successfully enroll at the university of their choice and not experience financial restraints while completing their degrees. To support and coach students during their studies at university, so they can successfully complete their degree and gain all the theoretical knowledge they need for their future careers. To create opportunities for students to gain practical working experience in an internship setting, so they can put their education and theoretical knowledge into practice, build their credentials and further develop practical expertise. To assist alumni in obtaining key positions in policy making and influential organizations. To research community needs in order to improve existing programs and create new programs with research results. To provide a gender program that addresses gender issues in the community in order to promote gender equality and create a platform for women leaders. These goals are collectively addressed by our programs, which jointly make up the We women from Burma project.

At Fundacion Entrepreneur, we work every day to "be the social actor that leads Learning by Playing in Latin America". "We seek to develop the competencies in our children and young people, that will become the best version of themselves and develop in the 21st century" Eight years ago there were three troublesome problems that were in our heads: What would happen if all people learned to undertake and be an entrepreneur?, What would happen if we were all financially literate, balancing our well-being and money?, What if we had fewer social myths and a mayor sense of citizenship and belonging? Common problems, which are in everyone's life, but which are not all carrying burden. Thus, in 2012, the chilean company Momento Cero (Mo.0), who has spent 15 years making learning and innovating always entertaining, through the creation of various tools to carry out the Learning by Playing methodology, saw the need to generate social impact initiatives, thus giving rise to our Entrepreneur Foundation, an independent, non-profit organization. We felt in love with the challenges linked to this specific problems, because we believe they are the individual mobilizing motors of freedom and necessary to create, finance and implement dreams and projects that are a contribution to the common good. How do we put this into practice? We develop, implement and evaluate school programs that promote the use of educational board games in the classroom, focusing on students between 12 and 18 years old. We address relevant topics for current challenges: entrepreneurial talent, financial literacy, social sense and citizenship. Along with this, we co-developed the book "Playful mindset: to create, educate, undertake and innovate", where we share our know-how. Why Learn by Playing? Because if there are emotions, there is learning. And if that learning has an educational intention to provide tools to our young people, even better! We know that the Learning by Playing methodology generates emotions, fosters self-confidence, develops divergent thinking and reduces stress, which increases learning, thus developing in children and young people the skills that will allow them to become the best version of themselves in this century. We know that our challenge is not easy and we have a long way to go, but we are committed to enhancing the talent of each person, contributing to the formation of integral human beings, according to the challenges of the 21st century.

The Whispering Seed is a village based Home for Children and Sustainable Living and Learning Centre working in Myanmar and Thailand since 2004. We are a US registered 501 C3, tax-exempt charitable organization striving to bridge the traditions of sustainability and holistic education through innovative programs, trainings and design, drawing on the richness of local wisdom and traditional cultures along with renewed, socially appropriate models. With a pioneering spirit, Whispering Seed strives to support and build partnerships and collaborations between local groups within Myanmar and South and Southeast Asia, as well as with the international community. By supporting the diversity of cultures and richness of traditional wisdom within Myanmar along with the integration of new models for learning and sustainable development we are searching for creative solutions to the variety of challenges which Myanmar will face throughout the next critical years of development. WS is focused on five critical areas of development. With a holistic and integrated approach we aim to support the growth and development of a new society which is representative of the rich diversity of peoples and cultures of Myanmar. The Youth Sport Trust is an independent charity devoted to building a brighter future for young people. We are passionate about helping all young people achieve their full potential by delivering high quality physical education (PE) and sport opportunities. Through 20 years of experience, we have developed a unique way of maximising the power of sport to grow young people, schools and communities. We believe in the power of sport to change young people's lives for the better. Our programmes focus on using sport as a vehicle to improve young people's: Wellbeing: Our work develops children's fundamental movement skills, equipping them with the confidence, competence and enjoyment of sport needed for a lifetime of activity, as well as good physical and emotional health. Leadership: Our work supports the personal development of young people and their progress at school, as well as preparing them for the challenges of life ahead. We support young people to develop a range of positive character qualities, such as: creativity, aspiration, resilience and empathy. Achievement: PE and sport delivered well is proven to impact positively on attainment and academic achievement. It can engage young people in learning and support the development of skills needed for success in the classroom, including: communication, teamwork and self-management.

Bridge of Hope NGO is strong local non-governmental organisation, with an effective management and well established financial system, material resources and technical expertise in the field of disability and human rights. The NGO is recognized by national and local authorities and civil society partners in Armenia as the local initiator of inclusive education in the country and an NGO committed to the rights of children with disabilities to equal opportunities in education and community life. Bridge of Hope" (BOH) Armenian NGO is founded in 1996 by parents of children with disabilities and committed individuals from the field of health, education and social protection. Since then BOH has been promoting the disability as human rights issue and promotes the social inclusion of children and youth with disabilities so that their basic human rights are respected and implemented, they are able to make decisions on issues affecting their lives, live independently and with dignity and as active citizens participate equally in all community affairs. BOH programs are developed based on human rights and inclusive approaches for all children and youth including those with disabilities and with other forms of vulnerability. Thus, the organization's development work has influenced paradigm shift in existing approaches to disability issues in Armenia towards the reinforcement of social model of disability in Armenia. BOH has got strong cooperation with Local and National Governments, international organizations and civil society networks for promoting inclusive education and disability rights in Armenia. Since 1999 BoH projects have been focused on promoting inclusive policies, services and education to enhance equal protection and respect towards the rights, potential and dignity of all children who face exclusion, isolation and neglect because of disability and vulnerable social background. More than 25 different projects are realized since that time with financial support of many international organizations in collaboration with governmental and nongovernmental institutions. All the projects have had impact on education and social protection policies in Armenia. Due to this successful advocacy and cross-sectorial cooperation, inclusive education became a reality in Armenia. The development of inclusive education in has become a state policy and the government is committed to further the sustainable development of inclusion and equity in its education policies and the development agenda. For the contribution in development of inclusive education in Armenia, NGO "Bridge of Hope" has been awarded the Highest Award of the Ministry of Education of Armenia - Gold Medal. In 2014 "Bridge of Hope" became the winner of UNESCO Emir Jaber al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah International Prize 2013 to Promote Quality Inclusive Education for Persons with Disabilities (also please visit www.bridgeofhope.am). BOH community based services is another direction of its development work directed to creation of equal access for children and youth with disabilities to community life and independent living. In between 2001-2004 BOH has opened 5 centers for "Child Development and social inclusion" in Yerevan and 4 regional centers of Tavush Marz - Dilijan, Ijevan, Berd and Noyemebryan. These centers have become doorways from exclusion to inclusion for hundreds of young children and youth with disabilities and their families. The municipalities of Dilijan, Ijevan, Berd and Noyemebryan have provided these centers big buildings free of charge and cover 15% of running costs of the centers through the community budgets. Every year BOH raises funds from different national and international donors to keep the centers functioning and serving to more than 500 children and youth with disables and their families. Up to date about 1200 children and youth with disabilities (with physical, hearing and visual, intellectual, mental, behavioral and emotional problems) benefitted from BOH inclusive services, many of them have become a productive and active adolescents and youth leading independent and dignified lives. The mission of Second Mile Haiti is to reduce the number of Haitian children who grow up in orphanages by working directly with the families of children who are at-risk for orphanage placement. Second Mile Haiti was founded in 2012, by two women who, while working in an orphanage in Northern Haiti, came to understand the very multi-faceted nature of the challenges faced by families in extreme poverty. Estimates suggest that at least 30,000 Haitian children currently live in one of the country's 678 orphanages and that at least 80% of the these children having living parents. With institutionalized-care facilities on the rise throughout the country, orphanages have become the go-to solution for families whose resources are not sufficient to meet the needs of the children in their care. During a crisis such as severe malnutrition, when significant lack is challenged by acute need, children are especially vulnerable to orphanage placement. For families who don't understand the condition and lack access to healthcare, malnutrition can seem like a death sentence, one that threatens the survival of healthier family members. In an effort to create an alternative for caregivers in crisis, Second Mile Haiti was born. Currently, we operate a 22-bed rehabilitation program structured to meet the immediate needs of children with severe acute malnutrition, while empowering their caregivers through health education, agriculture training, and small business opportunities.
