1.0 MISSION AND VISION 1.1 MISSION To alleviate poverty, reverse rural urban migration and promote self-reliance among the people. 1.2 VISSION Ensuring partnership of rural communities with the urban cities to reverse rural urban drift; by organizing income generation activities, community infrastructional development and community mobilization concept. 1.2 GOAL To promote environment promote and livelihood development for the relief of socio-economic problems and mismanagement of resources with the focus on women and children. 2.0 ORGANISATIONAL PROFILE 2.1 BRIEF HISTORY Rural Urban Partnership for Africa (RUPFA) is a Non-Governmental Organization in Africa headquartered in Accra, Ghana. It main aim is to fight poverty in our society especially at the rural communities and to be sure that well-being is for all. RUPFA Headquarter started in 2009 and took effect from 2010 with a management staff of four (4) and increased to twenty six (26) with volunteers at present, including ten (10) regional coordinators. Nos in the World, more than 360 management staff, volunteers, regional coordinators and others. We depend on individuals, business entities, corporate bodies, government, foundations, international donors, etc. For our work. We also operate in some countries : Malawi, Netherland, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Benin, Burkina Faso, Liberia, Tanzania, Cote d'Ivoire, Nigeria and Sierra Leone. RUPFA is registered with the number G-28, 582 of Registrar General of Ghana on 26th June 2009 under Companies Codes, 1963(Act 179) and the new number is CG172072015 of July 27, 2015 as well as our donars and/or as a member of World Association of Non-Governmental Organization-WANGO (USA), Institute of Cultural Diplomacy-ICD (Berlin, Germany) and World Water Council/Forum (Paris, France), Action Solidarite pour le Developpement Humain (ASODH France), Japan Water Forum (JWF), Global Cluster Protection, Human Rights Team (UNHCR as lead), UN Agencies with some of their clusters and work groups, Sun24 USA and more since 2012. It is particularly concerned with women, children, youths and the grassroots communities. The organization over the past Nine (12) years have been embarking on community development, climate change actions, WASH (water supply), Human Rights, educational and sensitization campaigns in communities, institutions and social groups throughout the ten (10) regions of Ghana, Malawi, DRC, Nigeria, etc. We have been organizing campaigns on Protection of Forest and Biodiversity, Protection of Rivers and Water Bodies, Climate Change Education and Bush fires, Desertification and Drought related issues to the general public, Agricultural, GBV and PSEA activities that we are currently working on the report. However, a paper presentation was made on an international platform on March 10th, 2013 at an economic congress put together by Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD) in Berlin (Germany) and another presentation at International City and Civil Society Organisation at Istanbul (Turkey). Planted economic trees in some second cycle schools in the Greater Accra, Eastern, Northern and Volta Regions and have constructed community pipe stands in the North Tongu District to prevent people from drinking polluted water that is being shared with the livestock in the area and also developed small skill enterprise and income generation activities with small loans of GHc200.00-GHc1,500.00 covering over 200 people with women being 95%. Again we have been observing United Nations World Environment Day, World Water Day and World Forest Day on our own platform. We also engage Forestry Commission (FC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in our campaigns such as Protection of Forest and Biodiversity/Climate Change, Protection of Rivers and Water Bodies across the country. We have involved the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies on different projects including Environmental Sanitation. We have strategically involved the youth in our environment protection through the establishment of RUPFA GREEN CLUBS (RGC) in Senior High Schools (SHS) and RUPFA GREEN FORUM (RGF) in the Universities. We have being partnering with Ministry of Food and Agriculture on projects on Agribusiness and Farming and also Electoral Commission on a project dubbed: The role of the Youth in Ensuring Peace before, during and after Elections, all towards our Good Governance and Human Right Campaign. As of today, RUPFA has been able to form partnership with various institutions and traditional rulers in its operations. RUPFA has regional coordinators across the nation and beyond. Today, RUPFA is working under those countries listed below and the headquarter is in Accra/Ghana.

Our fourth mission is women empowerment and child protection through participation, capacity development and decision making processes Our fifth mission is Youth and Adolescents development through vocational education and life skill training Elaboration of NISA's Programs 1. Migration, Displacement and Humanitarian Policy NISA conduct rigorous research and provide innovative policy approaches that enable migrants, refugees and host community to prosper. Centre for Global Community Development's program on migration, displacement and humanitarian policy is focused on ensuring that everyone on the move realizes their full potential. We work to maximize the benefit of migration to destination and origin countries, expand the opportunities available to forcibly displace people and reform humanitarian system to better serve the needs of those affected by conflict and crisis. We recognize that human mobility can have positive and negative effects, depending on policy choices. We therefore work with policymakers around the world to create sustainable, pragmatic and evidence-based policies for everyone on the move. 2. Global Health and Nutrition Policy Global community faces new challenges relating to health and nutrition. Prevalence of communicable and non-communicable diseases and Global Acute Malnutrition (GAM) are increasing alary. NISA's work focuses on building sustainable health systems, global health financing, improving global health security, addressing GAM, diseases and treatment inequalities and designing fiscal policies for better health 3. Inclusive Education Despite tremendous progress, education has not yet fulfilled its promise to wider communities: gender inequality remain acute, intergenerational mobility is declining, and poor children often go to much worse school than rich children. NISA's research examines the mechanisms through which education can give children equal life opportunities and build the human capital that nations need to prosper. 4. Sustainable Development Finance To meet the Sustainable Development Goals, development finance must increase from billions to trillions. Our work focuses on more finance from existing and emerging sources, and on allocating those funds to meet both ongoing needs and future challenges. 5. Technology and Development Policy innovation is not keeping pace with technological change. How can digital country be made to increase state capacity and reduce inequality? How should we manage and regulate growth in biometric ID and governance? How can digital payments be safely and effectively scaled up? NISA's research helps policy makers catch up with our changing world 6. Government and Development The policies and program of major country government wield enormous influence on global development process. NISA provides data, evidence, and solutions that can help guide Bangladesh development policy. Our Bangladesh-based Development Policy team seeks to strengthen Bangladesh foreign assistance tools with proposals for reform grounded in rigorous analysis and evidence. NISA Bangladesh team aims to help the Bangladesh government in building the capacity of the root level staffs of MOH&FW, Local Elected Bodies (LEBs) and the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE). Our work also encompasses research on aid effectiveness and how to address corruption problems and transparency. 7. Gender and Equality NISA works on gender focuses policies in aid, development project, trade, migration and peacekeeping that will improve women's economic empowerment worldwide. Greater equality drives big gains in health, education, and improved livelihoods - for individuals, their families, and their communities. However, in many parts of the world, women and girls and other marginalized group including LGBTI people, still face legal, economic, and political constraints that prevent them from participating fully and equally in society. NISA uses evidence to show how governments, donor institutions, and the private sector can help in creating low-and middle income countries that allow all people to thrive. 8. Global Poverty Reduction National Initiative for Social Action (NISA) works to reduce global poverty and improve lives through innovative economic research that drives better policy and practice by the world's top decision makers. NISA believes that volunteers can overcome poverty by sharing their knowledge, experience and skills across the globe. NISA closely works through National and International Volunteers for global poverty reduction in skills sharing approach. 9. Youth and Adolescent Development Youth and adolescents constitute 18 percent and 16 percent of the global population where 90% live in the developing countries. If these large portion of populations can be brought under skilled human resources, they will able to contribute in countries GDP. NISA works with the youth and adolescents to build their institutional capacity especially involve the youth and adolescents in development activities and help to register the youth club with the Department of Youth Development (DYD). NISA advocates with the NCTB and MOHFW in order to ensure young people's access to SRHR information in existing co-curricular and to ensure youth friendly services in government health facilities. 10. Sustainable Environment Bangladesh is one of the most disaster prone countries in Asia due to its geographical locations. It has experienced of 1970's and 1991's devastating cyclones, 2007's Sidr and 2009's Ayla. NISA creates space for the coastal people to build a disaster resilient community and sustainable environment. In order to cope with the situation, NISA promotes green programs especially mangroves afforestation in coastal areas including roadside tree plantation. Since its inception, NISA research on climate change impacts on communities. NISA also promotes climate adaptive livelihoods for the coastal communities like sheep rearing, duck rearing, crab farming and saline tolerant varieties. Moreover, NISA works for Carbon Reduction and participate in emergency response and rehabilitation activities when needed. 11. Food and Agriculture More than one billion people in developing countries suffer from chronic hunger. The role of agriculture in promoting pro-poor growth is attracting attention internationally. NISA's work in this area focuses on how rich countries' agriculture effects in developing world. Most of the people in developing countries live in rural areas and depends on agriculture for their livelihoods. But they don't have enough savings required to invest for farming. NISA research on food and agriculture and provide support for year round vegetable cultivation and other cropping. 12. Social Protection Activities NISA is actively involved with the different types of social protection activities at the community level like preventing child torturing, child abuse, early marriage, child labor, child and women trafficking etc. It organizes rallies, discussion seminars and advocacy workshop at different level on child protection and trafficking. 13.Research and publication NISA works for global research and development including research design, baseline survey, end line survey, questionnaires development, and midterm review (MTR), impact evaluation, training need assessment, training module development, SBCC materials development, project proposal writing, report writing, case study development and implementation of development projects in Bangladesh.

Every day more than 600 people in Bulgaria have a life-saving need for blood and blood products, because of accidents, emergency life-saving procedures, surgical interventions, childbirths, different cancers and many other diseases that need blood for treatment. Their lives are directly dependent on securing the necessary quantities of safe human blood which can be obtained ONLY through DONATION OF BLOOD because BLOOD has NO substitute! Unfortunately, Bulgaria is currently in one of the last places in Europe when it comes to donating blood. Most people donate blood only for relatives or friends who are in need and the true number of genuine voluntary blood donors is less than 25% of all blood donors. Due to the very limited amount of blood donors, hospitals force patients to find donors before they can have a required treatment (the so-called "replacement donor system", which poses significant problems to the patients and their families. Also, this highly questionable practice has led to the growth of an ugly black market for blood donors.). We hope that with our joint efforts we will be able to change this situation. BULGARIAN ORGANIZATION OF VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION is a non-profit association operating in public interest done by volunteers. We are the first Bulgarian association working entirely to encourage and promote regular, anonymous, voluntary, non-remunerated blood donation. We believe that blood donation is one of the most humane acts. We also believe that our cause is extremely important for every human being because the shortage of blood could affect everyone. In our daily activities we provide information about blood donation, answer questions and give support; help in cases of an urgent need for blood; organize blood drives and campaigns to educate and inspire people to donate. In 2013 BOVBD launched the first-of-its-kind for Bulgaria long-term project called "Donate Blood", aimed at promoting and facilitating voluntary blood donation and helping those in need of blood for themselves or their relatives. The core of this project lies with the "Donate Blood" system, entirely managed and administrated by BOVBD. The system is a sort of dual registry and has two main functionalities that are interlinked - on one side for the people who are voluntary blood donors or wish to become such and help, and on the other - for everyone who needs blood. The system is extremely useful for finding blood donors on time. It is an innovative and very effective tool to at least partially fulfil the need for blood in Bulgaria and to help when the need is urgent. "Donate blood" can be used completely free through our mobile phone applications for iPhone and Android. Every user has constant access to important and useful information about blood donation, offered through the BOVBD website - www.bgblood.org, including the prerequisites and contradictions for donating blood, addresses and contact details for blood centres in the country, blood collection campaigns that are ongoing or upcoming, etc. Our ambition is to upgrade the applications with additional functionalities when we have enough funding. By focusing the public attention on the problems that arise from the lack of information on blood donation and its importance, from the insufficient number of voluntary blood donors and the risks of paid donors, we are working together to resolve them. The World Health Organization proclaims voluntary blood donation as the safest method for collecting the necessary quantities of blood and blood products needed in everyday healthcare. We hope and work for so that one day there will be enough voluntary blood donors and we, our kids, our parents and everyone who needs blood or could find himself in need of blood to be sure that there is enough safe blood that would help to save his life.

South Sudan Grassroots Initiative for Development (SSGID) is a National non-profit, Humanitarian and Development community organization established in the year 2013 and registered with the Ministry of Justice (Registration Number 1921) and the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (Registration Number 350). SSGID was founded by a group of women and youth of South Sudan with the aim of responding to the ever increasing social, economic, and health challenges affecting the predominantly rural / pastoral population of the Country. SSGID philosophy is based on the principle of Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) where target communities are viewed as ASSETS with lots of opportunities, resources and ability to influence their desired outcomes other than as Problem Centres for humanitarian actions. SSGID, therefore, supports communities through a wide range of programmes that are community-driven with a niche on community innovation and problem solving. SSGID's programmes are focussed on vulnerable women and girls because SSGID subscribes to the belief that "if you educate a woman, you educate a nation." In addition women and girls are the worst affected categories of people in South Sudan as far as poverty, education attainment, human rights violation besides being marginalized in development programmes. SSGID also believes that youths play a very key role in transforming societies and are regarded to be having proactive minds towards development as well as being enthusiastic members of the society. SSGID provides Livelihood skills training and capacity building programmes to empower the young women and men in the communities so that they could contribute to their own development and build a resilient and sustainable community Vision Statement: Just, educated, healthy, equitable, peace loving and self-sustaining communities. Improvement of health and solidification of communities' response to emerging health issues. Women and youth empowerment through education and human rights advocacy. Promotion of peaceful co-existence among citizens and proactive participation in good governance stakeholders. Equity Promoting equitable and equal opportunities for all the beneficiaries and in employment in SSGID. Integrity A very high sense of moral and ethical standards in all SSGID dealings with all stakeholders and the public. Access to education at any of its levels, education and professional training are the objective of our projects and are always present in them, whether they are educational or from other areas. We work in Development Cooperation Projects in African and South American countries in areas of education, training and professional training; in agricultural, environmental and food sovereignty projects. We work with communities and mainly with women. In Spain and Europe we mainly work on social awareness through Education for Development projects. For this we have our own Development Education Strategy. A third pillar of our activity is the Social Projects with which we try to promote people, especially women in long-term unemployment, from our immediate environment. Sisterhood Agenda is an award-winning, tax-exempt nonprofit organization that creates and implements activities for women and girls around the globe for education, support and empowerment. Sisterhood Agenda promotes positive social change and has over 6,000 global partners in 36 countries. Global partners create an extensive sisterhood network to increase local organization capacity and unite women and girls. Sisterhood Agenda's SEA (Sisterhood Empowerment Academy), based in the U.S. Virgin Islands, attracts international participants. The Children's Radio Foundation (CRF) uses radio training and broadcast to create opportunities for youth dialogue, participation, leadership, and active citizenship. Through giving youth the tools and skills to produce radio, young people are mobilized to engage in productive dialogue about the issues they face, and work together to improve their lives and communities. With 74 youth radio projects across six African countries, CRF works with radio stations and CBOs to create local platforms for discussion, information sharing, social engagement, and action. Our reporters take on issues that resonate with youth in their community, including but not limited to children's rights, sexual reproductive health and rights, power dynamics in teenage relationships, gender norms and stereotypes, HIV and AIDS-related issues, climate change, and the environment. Speaking in local languages and in a youth-friendly style, they interview community members, host debates, and bring out local perspectives. Their reporting projects, broadcasts, and outreach activities are geared to generate discussion about issues facing youth.

Young Scientists for Africa (YoSA) is a registered charity supporting young African science students by: - Awarding scholarships to attend the annual London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF). - Creating a student network in Africa to enable and encourage careers in science. This is necessary because: - Extensive analysis has demonstrated that Africa needs science, not just aid, to address the socio-economic and public health challenges it faces. - Africa needs young African scientists to lead the charge on reshaping the continent and improving and saving African lives. What YoSA offers: YoSA was established to support young African science students who don't typically have access to the same opportunities as those in other parts of the world. A central component of YoSA is a scholarship programme to sponsor African science students to attend the London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF). Proper representation of African students at this international forum is hugely important and before the creation of YoSA there was no representation of students from countries in Sub-Saharan Africa; a continent that constitutes approximately 20% of the world's youth population. YoSA works with leading scientists and scientific initiatives in Africa to identify the best young African scientific talent. These students are then sponsored to attend the London International Youth Science Forum - an annual event which attracts over 500 of the world's best science students from more than 70 countries, many of whom have won national science competitions - and are given the chance to engage with world leading scientists in a two week programme of lectures, debates and visits to research institutions. At LIYSF, YoSA students have the opportunity to share their perspectives and create lasting relationships with an audience of other young scientists from all over the world. They also raise the profile of African science by introducing other students to the challenges and opportunities for science in Africa. YoSA operates through a network of facilitators and has established links with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (https://www.gatesfoundation.org/), The Wellcome Trust (https://wellcome.ac.uk/), The Alliance for Accelerating Excellence in Science in Africa (AESA) (http://aesa.ac.ke/), Projekt Inspire (http://projektinspire.co.tz/) and the Next Einstein Forum (https://nef.org/). Through the support of its network of facilitators YoSA sponsors open and fair selection processes to identify talented young African scientists, for whom other financial support would not be available, and who are committed to pursuing science careers in Africa. The facilitators also support scholarship students locally with their visa and passport requirements as they have typically never travelled outside their own country before. Our ambition is to support young African scientists, not just in attending LIYSF, but also in creating a network that can link into other African science initiatives such as Next Einstein Forum (https://nef.org/) and Africa Research Excellence Fund (http://www.africaresearchexcellencefund.org.uk/) as they progress in their education and careers. We have directly facilitated introductions for our students with these and other leading science organisations in Africa and we actively monitor and encourage the progress of their scientific development through these connections. Each of our scholarship students has returned to Africa with a determination to succeed in science. They have been very proactive in communicating their experiences at LIYSF within their schools and local communities and inspire others pursue careers in science. They are each required to write a report of their experiences as part of the scholarship we provide and this forms the basis of these presentations. Our students are fantastic ambassadors for science in Africa and it's no exaggeration to say that YoSA and LIYSF have had a life changing effect on them and their ambitions for their future careers as African scientists. Neben Schutz und Beratung fur Frauen bietet GESINE auch Interventionsangebote fur Maenner sowie Unterstuetzung fuer all die Menschen, die in ihrem Beruf oder Privatleben mit von Gewalt betroffenen Frauen in Kontakt sind. Seit den spaeten 80er Jahren setzt sich der Verein Frauen helfen Frauen En fuer den Schutz und die Unterstuetzung von Frauen und ihren Kindern im Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis ein. Mit dem GESINE Frauenhaus, der GESINE Frauenberatung, dem GESINE Netzwerk Gesundheit und dem Programm fuer gewaltaktive Manner hat der Verein eine breite Infrastruktur zur individuellen Unterstuetzung und zum Schutz von Frauen und ihren Kindern geschaffen. 1992 konnten wir das erste Frauenhaus im EN-Kreis eroeffnen. 1996 wurde mit der Frauenberatungsstelle in Witten ein Angebot fuer Frauen in schwierigen Lebenssituationen geschaffen. Lebenskrisen, Trennung/Scheidung, Mobbing, Stalking und auch seelische, koerperliche oder sexuelle Formen von Gewalt sind haeufige Beratungsthemen. Mittlerweile haben wir in drei weiteren Kreisstaedten Beratungsstandorte: In Schwelm, Hattingen und Herdecke. Das GESINE Netzwerk Gesundheit mit seinen vielen Akteur_innen setzt sich seit 2004 fuer eine gute gesundheitliche Versorgung gewaltbetroffener Frauen und ihrer Kinder ein - eine wichtige Voraussetzung fuer eine Zukunft ohne Gewalt. Dieses Ziel verfolgt der Verein seit 2007 auch mit unterschiedlichen Forschungs- und Praxisprojekten. So etwa von 2012 - 2019 mit dem Kompetenzzentrum Frauen und Gesundheit NRW - finanziert vom Gesundheitsministerium NRW. Seit 2006 war GESINE Intervention Partnerin in 7 EU-Projekten und zwei bundesweiten Projekten. Seit 2015 wird mit TONI ein Programm fuer Manner und Frauen angeboten, die in ihrer Partnerschaft zu aggressiven verbalen oder koerperlichen Uebergriffen neigen und ihr Verhalten aendern moechten. Weitere Schwerpunkte sind regionale Projekte zur Verbesserung des Gewaltschutzes fur Frauen und Manner mit Behinderungen sowie fuer Frauen in Fluchtsituationen. Dies alles sind Angebote, die von uns kontinuierlich weiter entwickelt werden. Zur Praevention von und Intervention bei Gewalt gegen Frauen hat der Verein eine Gesamtstrategie entwickelt. Ueber individuellen Schutz und Unterstuetzung hinaus zielt diese auf die grundlegende Veraenderung der Bedingungen, die Gewalt gegen Frauen erst moeglich machen. Mit dem Internetportal GESINE Intervention www.gesine-intervention.de bietet der Verein eine digitale Anlaufstelle fuer Gewaltbetroffene, ihr Umfeld, Fachpublikum und Engagierte. Dort sind auch die von GESINE Intervention entwickelten Materialien fuer von Gewalt betroffene Frauen (auch Jugendliche und Maenner) sowie fuer das Fachpublikum eingestellt - Flyer, Broschueren, Plakate, Dokumentationsboegen, Filme.
