Mission: Empowering donors to support grassroots NGOs in China At present, most grassroots NGOs lack an effective method for professional fund-raising and most Chinese official foundations provide very limited grant opportunities. The resulting funding gap forces them to focus a disproportionate amount of time on maintaining the operation of their organizations. As a result, they usually have neither the energy nor money to conduct large-scale fund-raising activities or focus on improving the impact of their programs. Shanghai United Foundation (SUF) focuses on fund-raising for grassroots NGOs in an effort to relieve much of the financial burden that limits the growth and impact of promising organizations.

Redirecting the Path and Potential of Vulnerable Children - Kismet Rock Foundation nourishes the physical, intellectual and emotional development of rural and urban children throughout New England before they enter their formative teen years. Our success in saving children is accomplished by providing scholarships for a comprehensive education in technical rock climbing within the context of a stable and loving family-like atmosphere.

The mission of the Oregon Zoo Foundation is to foster community pride and involvement in the Oregon Zoo and to secure financial support for zoo conservation, education and animal welfare programs. Technology Access Foundation started in 1996 to prepare underserved youth of color for higher education and professional success by providing a rigorous and relevant K-12 curriculum. TAF enhances their educational and professional prospects through the delivery of tools for learning in the 21st century. We will use our demonstrable success to establish our leadership in educational reform and expand the reach of our model.
