The American Nurses Foundation is dedicated to transforming the nation's health through the power of nursing.

AHF was founded over 30 years ago to help people in the Himalaya who were in need and had no one else, and that principle still guides us every day. What we do is basic: we make change - positive, tangible change - happen. We build and support schools and students; train doctors and fund hospitals; care for children and elders; plant trees and restore sacred sites. We help Tibetans rebuild and sustain their culture both in exile and in Tibet.

NAAF was founded to assist and promote research-based, community-driven, sustainable development throughout the Tohono O'odham Nation.

The mission of the American Foundation for Surgery of the Hand is to advance the care of hand and upper extremity disorders by supporting research, education, and outreach through the efficient collection of donations and administration of grants.

The Foundation's goal is to provide the ultimate environment for a child to become their best in all areas of their life, including academic, athletic, interpersonal skills, leadership, as a mentor, and someone willing to be mentored. They hope to arm children with a variety of ways to grow intellectually, spiritually, physically, and in their relationships with themselves and others. Their program is designed to go deeper into the subjects of life, excellence, and how to pursue happiness. In the end, our long-term goal is to help them become professionals in life, to find peace of mind, so they can share this wisdom with their families, friends, and communities as leaders and examples of extraordinary living and happiness.

South American Initiative is currently addressing the political, health and social crisis in Venezuela by stepping up its efforts to aid and feed starving children and adults across Venezuela and other countries in South America.

The Indo American Center (IAC) addresses the needs of South Asian immigrants as well as people from more than thirty nations over the world. IAC provides services that facilitate their adjustment, integration, and friendship with the wider society, nurture their sense of community, and foster appreciation for the diversity of culture and heritage.

The mission of the American Indian Resource Center, Inc. is to develop culturally appropriate resources to meet the needs of American Indian communities.AIRC provides professional expertise to and on behalf of American Indian tribes, organizations, and schools, and other interested agencies.

To advance the Afghan-American community through education and outreach, and promote civic and social engagement.

Established as a 501C3 corporation in 2002, IRC has strategically incorporated first-world resources, business practices, and efficiency with compassion and focus. The result has been to provide necessary and needed relief directly to the people who lack life's essential conveniences. Driven to satisfy the complete spectrum of the individual, IRC is dedicated to facilitating the spiritual, educational, physical, and the community needs of the person. As such, IRC directs projects geared toward the revitalization of the whole person and whole community. The American River Natural History Association (ARNHA) and the Effie Yeaw Nature Center are dedicated to providing educational and interpretive programs and information about the natural environment, principally in the American River Parkway.

Combatants for Peace in Israel and Palestine works towards a two-state solution in the 1967 borders, or any other mutually agreed upon solution that will allow both Israelis and Palestinians to live in freedom, security, democracy and dignity in their homeland. American Friends of Combatants for Peace serves as the Combatants’ fiscal sponsor in the USA and an education and fundraising arm to support their work.
