The Conservation Alliance’s mission is to engage businesses to fund and partner with organizations to protect wild places for their habitat and recreation values.

We are an international think tank that provides Ecological Footprint accounting tools to drive informed policy decisions in a resource-constrained world. We work with local and national governments, investors, and opinion leaders to ensure all people live well, within the means of one planet.

We are a community-based, environmental justice non-profit that designs and builds parks, and creates green space and water conservation projects in under-served communities throughout Los Angeles. NET is recognized throughout the state of California for its creation of innovative, low impact native plant based sustainable designs, and for forging strategic partnerships with urban communities. Founded in 1989 and incorporated in 1991, NET has planted over 100,000 trees, designed and built almost 50 parks and projects (half of them along the LA River), and trained and employed hundreds of frontline environmental workers from the communities we serve, and created natural green schoolyards for over 20 school communities.

Greenpeace Foundation exists to intervene intelligently for the future of earth’s living species. This is a separate organization from Greenpeace Fund.

When envisioning habitat restoration and preservation, few people imagine the intense grid of the San Gabriel Valley. Indeed, even most lifelong residents of the valley are at a loss to describe any natural features in the Valley at all, much less any worth preserving or enhancing. And yet, numerous natural [areas], some quite large defy the choking constraints of intense urbanization and thrive here. A number of these [areas] still boast greater biodiversity than many pristine habitats in other less developed areas of the country.

RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, PROMOTION, AND MAINTAINING BOTANICAL CONSERVATORY INCLUDING MISSION ORIENTED EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

To deepen understanding and promote conservation of alpine plants and fragile mountain environments.

SPLT's mission is to create and protect a network of shortgrass prairie preserves, which ensure a future for all native animals and plants.

To protect and enhance the wildlife habitat, fishery, and recreational resources of the American River Parkway. Our volunteer, non-profit group of members and Board of Directors work to ensure that the American River Parkway will survive and prosper for the benefit of future generations.

The mission of the McHenry County Conservation Foundation is to support, sustain, and advance the public conservation, education, and recreation programs of the McHenry County Conservation District and its partners.
