Since 2001, Keep Charlotte Beautiful has provided residents and visitors with opportunities to join fun, like-minded individuals who are passionate about protecting Charlotte County’s natural resources. We focus on our mission of improving the quality of life in Charlotte County by engaging volunteers to keep our community clean and free of debris, conserving resources and beautifying our public spaces. We use the three “E’s” of community engagement: Education, Environment and Events to instill pride and ownership in our community so that we ensure effective, long-term results. Through our ongoing programs, Keep Charlotte Beautiful helps individuals, families, civic and business groups get more involved in protecting our precious natural resources.

We provide knowledge and inspiration, conservation and advocacy, and logistical support for the climbing community.

The purpose of the foundation shall be to preserve and encourage the preservation of historic buildings, objects and sites relating to the history of Hawai'i to promote an awareness of and respect for all that is historically significant and architecturally distinctive in our State; and through these efforts, to keep alive and intact for the enrichment of present and future generations the inherent beauty of the Hawaiian Islands and its unique historic role in the development of the Pacific Basin.

We provide job training, classes, and recreation opportunities for some of the Bay Area's most at-risk youth. We also offer services to the community including a bicycle shop and repair facility, a full service wooden boat building shop, and Berkeley's only youth-run coffee shop.

Na Kama Kai's mission is to empower youth by creating, conducting and supporting ocean-based programs, specifically targeting ocean safety and conservation awareness in order to increase the capacity of youth in the community through Hawaiian values, culture and environmental education
