Summit Land Conservancy works with our communities to protect and preserve land and water for the benefit of people and nature.Open space is the heart of our community. The Summit Land Conservancy cares for these lands forever, nurturing a healthy community that is founded on its strong connection to the places we've protected together.

To honor and preserve our connection with natureOur botanical garden propagates and displays the diverse plant life of mediterranean climate zones. We serve the people of San Luis Obispo County and visitors, by providing nature education, opportunities for community interaction, an events space, water conservation demonstrations, a fire- safe landscape display, children’s exploration, life celebration gardens, outdoor recreation, botanical research, a horticultural library, connection to indigenous culture and artistic endeavors.

Tigers4Ever's mission is to halt the decline of wild tiger populations by helping people living on the periphery of tiger territories & equipping forest patrols protecting tigers in India. We work with local communities & the Forest Department to build a future where people live in harmony with and have an enhanced understanding of tigers.
