Memphis Botanic Garden strives to enhance lives by connecting people with nature, increasing awareness and appreciation of our environment. Our 96-acre property includes 29 specialty gardens, which provide an in-depth look into various families of plants, flowers, and trees.

Triangle Land Conservancy strives to create a healthier and more vibrant Triangle region by safeguarding clean water, protecting natural habitats, supporting local farms and food, and connecting people with nature through land protection and stewardship, catalyzing community action, and collaboration.

There are many distractions and obstacles in our fast-paced society, and an increasing number of negative trends—obesity and health issues, screen addition, attention disorders, stress, violence, disrespect, substance abuse, you name it—all of which need our attention and action as a community. The Rose Kennedy Greenway is a mile-and-a-half of contemporary parks in the heart of Boston. The Greenway, a roof garden atop a highway tunnel, connects people and the city with beauty and fun. The non-profit Conservancy maintains, programs, and improves the Greenway on behalf of the public and in partnership with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Our mission is to transform the LA River in order to improve people’s lives by carrying out sustainable land use projects, advocacy for river-friendly policy, and programs for community benefit. Our vision is to make Los Angeles a cleaner, greener, and more connected community.

The mission of the Adirondack Council is to ensure the ecological integrity and wild character of the Adirondack Park. We envision an Adirondack Park composed of large core wilderness areas, connected to working farms and forests, and augmented by vibrant communities, all within a diverse mosaic of biologically intact landscapes.

Ecology in Classrooms and Outdoors (ECO) inspires elementary school students to connect to our natural world through hands-on ecology enrichment programs. Our programs include a series of nature lessons + activities in students' classrooms and schoolyards, and culminate in service-learning projects in the students' community.

InterVol's mission is simple; to connect the world's neediest to materials, people, and opportunities. Whether on site helping us to sort unused medical supplies, or halfway around the world on a medical mission trip, our volunteers embody the humanitarian spirit from which we were founded.

Golden Gate Audubon is dedicated to protecting Bay Area birds, other wildlife and their natural habitats. We conserve and restore wildlife habitat, connect people of all ages and backgrounds with the natural world, and educate and engage Bay Area residents in the protection of our shared, local environment.

Our mission is to advance local innovations that strengthen the resilience of communities and ecosystems bordering Madagascar’s largest remaining rainforest.

Wave Hill is a 28-acre public garden and cultural center in the Bronx overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades. Its mission is to celebrate the artistry and legacy of its gardens and landscapes, to preserve its magnificent views, and to explore human connections to the natural world through programs in horticulture, education and the arts.
