The National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) creates opportunities for people to experience and learn about the environment in ways that improve their lives and the health of the planet. Congressionally chartered in 1990 as a 501c3 nonprofit to complement the work of the US Environmental Protection Agency, NEEF is a non-partisan, non-advocacy organization working to make the environment more accessible, relatable, relevant, and connected to people’s daily lives (mission). NEEF achieves this through our three focus areas: K-12 Education, Health, and Conservation.

The Friends of the Drew Forest is an entirely volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by environmental leaders from Madison and neighboring towns, dedicated community volunteers and Drew University alumni. Our vision is that the Drew Forest Preserve will be permanently protected as open space through a conservation sale that will strengthen Drew University and its financial future. Instead of selling to a developer, we propose a win-win: If Drew works with Madison Borough to sell this special land for full market value to a conservation buyer, Drew could benefit financially while securing the forest for student and public use. We are dedicated to forming partnerships to: - Protect and sustain the Drew Forest Preserve, 53 biodiverse acres that provide countless benefits to Drew University, Madison Borough, and surrounding communities along with critical wildlife habitat; - Raise awareness about the value of forests in aquifer protection, supporting biodiversity, climate resilience, temperature control, air quality, and quality of life; - Facilitate the enjoyment, understanding, and study of nature.

We inspire stewardship to forever ensure the rare ecological integrity of the St. Croix and Namekagon Riverway. Urban Woodlands Community Gardens, Inc. dba The Lotus Garden is a not-for-profit corporation in the city of New York. It is organized for the following purposes: Creating and maintaining the Lotus Garden for community use and enjoyment. Providing general opportunities for neighborhood residents of the Upper West Side of Manhattan to use and enjoy the garden. Providing for community programs for special interest groups and neighborhood residents to use, enjoy, and participate in garden activities.

To promote the arts and sciences on Long Beach Island and in the surrounding communities by enlightening, educating, and stimulating thought and discussion about current trends in the arts and sciences and by providing broad educational and cultural programs for all ages.
