We are a science-based nonprofit dedicated to counteracting the decline of whitebark pine and enhancing knowledge about this valuable ecosystem.

THE NATURE FOUNDATION AT WINTERGREEN EXISTS TO ENCOURAGE THE UNDERSTANDING, APPRECIATION AND CONSERVATION OF THE NATURAL AND CULTURAL RESOURCES OF THE BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS OF CENTRAL VIRGINIA. THE FOUNDATION WILL FUNCTION AS A RESEARCH AND EDUCATION FACILTY FOR ITS MEMBERS AND VISITORS.
