Brookline Greenspace Alliance

Mission: To preserve, protect and enhance the open spaces of Brookline, Massachusetts. The Brookline GreenSpace Alliance is a nonprofit environmental advocacy and education organization formed in 1987 by a group of concerned citizens to preserve, protect and enhance the open spaces of Brookline, Massachusetts. Since that time, we have grown to be an alliance of over 600 members, and 37 park friends groups, neighborhood associations and community groups working to care for the parks, open spaces and natural resources in Brookline. We work to achieve our mission by advocating for policies, by-laws and practices that promote the use, health and beauty of our natural environment; by supporting and encouraging the formation of park friends groups, and by providing educational opportunities for the community to learn about and get involved in the protection and stewardship of our precious open space.

Marine Park Alliance

Marine Park Alliance assists NYC Parks in its largest Brooklyn property with a mission to provide cultural, environmental and volunteer programming in Marine Park for the health and well-being of all New Yorkers. To carry out this mission the group envisions elevating this regional park as a South Brooklyn cultural gem – horticulturally, programmatically, and ecologically – free to the public.

Prospect Park Alliance

In partnership with the City of New York and the community, the Prospect Park Alliance restores, develops, and operates Prospect Park for the enjoyment of all by caring for the natural environment, preserving historic design, and serving the public through facilities and programs. Prospect Park's 585 acres of meadows, waterfalls, forest, lakes, and athletic facilities comprise a masterwork of urban green space.

Climate Justice Alliance

Climate Justice Alliance (CJA) formed in 2013 to create a new center of gravity in the climate movement by uniting frontline communities and organizations into a formidable force. Our translocal organizing strategy and mobilizing capacity is building a Just Transition away from extractive systems of production, consumption and political oppression, and towards resilient, regenerative and equitable economies. We believe that the process of transition must place race, gender and class at the center of the solutions equation in order to make it a truly Just Transition.

Indiana Forest Alliance

Indiana Forest Alliance (IFA) is a non-profit, statewide organization of individuals dedicated to the long-term health and well-being of Indiana’s native forests. We are volunteers and full-time staff working to protect and restore Indiana’s forests. IFA serves citizens, organizations, landowners and communities with a wide range of interests in Indiana’s forests. We provide accurate information to the people of Indiana to involve them in efforts to protect Indiana’s forests and ensure their opportunities for input into decision-making that affects forests. We speak out for the native animals, plants and other creatures who survive in Indiana’s forests and cannot speak for themselves.
