The mission of Friends of the Portland Memory Garden is "To enhance the lives of individuals with memory disorders and their caregivers by maintaining the Portland Memory Garden and providing therapeutic and educational activities."

The African Violet Society of America, Inc. (AVSA) was organized on November 8, 1946, and incorporated on June 30, 1947. The African Violet Society of America Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

The Snake River Alliance serves as Idaho’s nuclear watchdog and Idaho’s champion for renewable and nuclear-free energy. We raise community awareness about the dangers of nuclear waste, weapons and power while working to identify and promote sustainable alternatives. We do our work through advocacy, collaboration, education and grassroots organizing.

Since 1997, the Kasiisi Project has aided education in and around Kibale National Park in rural western Uganda, East Africa. Founded initially as a link between the research-based Kibale Chimpanzee Project and the local community, the Kasiisi Project now works with several research groups in and around the park to target critical issues for the survival of the forest and support of the local population. We support early childhood education, promote conservation and health education, provide daily school lunches, train teachers, encourage literacy through libraries and computer usage, fund secondary school and college scholarships, and address the special needs of girls.

The Land Conservancy of New Jersey preserves land and water resources, conserves open space, and inspires and empowers individuals and communities to protect land and the environment.

The Friends of the San Pedro River (FSPR), founded in 1987, is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and restoration of the river through advocacy, education, and interpretation.

Through advocacy and education, Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness works to protect, preserve, and restore the wilderness character of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and Quetico-Superior ecosystem. Our vision for the future of this national treasure lies at the intersection of people, communities and wilderness.
