THE WEST FUND IS A 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION AFFILIATED WITH THE NATIONAL NETWORK OF ABORTION FUNDS AND BASED IN EL PASO, TEXAS, THAT WORKS TO MAKE ABORTIONS ACCESSIBLE FOR ALL PEOPLE. WE ARE A SMALL GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS WHO BELIEVE REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE IS ONLY POSSIBLE WHEN ALL PEOPLE HAVE THE INFORMATION, ABILITY, AND RESOURCES TO MAKE THEIR OWN HEALTHCARE DECISIONS. THROUGH EDUCATION, COMMUNITY BUILDING, AND GAP FUNDING, WE HOPE TO EMPOWER WEST TEXANS, HELPING THEM ACHIEVE THEIR DECISIONS AND ACCESS THE HEALTHCARE THEY DESERVE.

Through international alliances and local resources, we engage in every step of rescue. From emergency response to dog adoption, No Dogs Left Behind stands by our survivors every step of the way. One Mission programs make living in the hospital less lonely and stressful, bring back joy in a time of fear and uncertainty, and give kids and their loved ones the support they need to get through the emotional and financial challenges of treatment. World Central Kitchen uses the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies through times of crisis and beyond. Through strategic litigation, public policy advocacy, and education, GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) works in New England and nationally to create a just society free of discrimination based on gender identity and expression, HIV status, and sexual orientation. Founded in 2004, Quail Springs is a leading educational non-profit that resides on a 450-acre permaculture demonstration site on the traditional homelands of the Chumash people in Cuyama Valley, California. Our mission is to empower students of all ages and backgrounds with knowledge, skills, and inspiration essential to cultivating ecological and social health in a rapidly changing world. Quail Springs teaches strategies and techniques instrumental for designing and building resilient, affordable, and carbon-neutral housing as well as ecologically sound and sovereign food systems. We are connected to an expansive local and international network of leading-edge practitioners. We envision an equitable global community that shares the bounty of this living planet and the responsibility to tend to its health.
