Sandy Creek Nature Center, Inc., a private, 501(c)(3)organization founded in 1973, partners with Athens-Clarke County to support, promote and protect the environmental education and preservation efforts of Sandy Creek Nature Center.

RIVER BEND NATURE CENTER EXISTS TO PROVIDE ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND OUTDOOR RECREATION TO THE CHILDREN, FAMILIES AND ADULTS OF RACINE AND SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN.

The mission of the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center is to provide education about the natural environment to people of all ages, and to protect and enhance the Arboretum as a haven and sanctuary for native plants and animals.

Nisqually Reach Nature Center is a volunteer and membership supported, nonprofit organization that promotes the understanding, appreciation, and preservation of the Nisqually estuarine ecosystem and its integral role in the local environment, history, and culture, through interpretation, education, and research.

CEH protects people from toxic chemicals by working with communities, consumers, workers, government, and the private sector to demand and support business practices that are safe for public health and the environment.

We inspire people to develop a lifelong practice of enjoying and protecting nature through educational programs, collaborative alliances, and conservation of our beautiful 76-acre preserve.

WEC’s mission is to: -Promote business and societal value by advancing solutions to sustainable development-related problems; -Foster leading-edge ideas about economic development, environmental protection, and social responsibility through roundtables and other forums that engage the leadership of a diverse number of organizations; and -Recognize performance excellence by companies that advance sustainable development.

1)TO ESTABLISH, ORGANIZE, MAINTAIN, AND OPERATE A MUSEUM EXCLUSIVELY FOR SCIENTIFIC, EDUCATIONAL AND LITERARY PURPOSES. THE MUSEUM SHALL BE OPEN, AT REASONABLE TIMES, TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC. 2)TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN THE AFOREMENTIONED MUSEUM FOR THE PURPOSE OF EDUCATING AND INSTRUCTING MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC, BOTH ADULTS AND CHILDREN, IN THE CONSERVATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PLANTS,TREES, ANIMALS, FISH, OTHER LIVING ORGANISM, SOIL, WATER AND MINERALS. 3)TO ENCOURAGE THE SCIENTIFIC STUDY AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE PRACTICES OF CONSERVATION AND OF THE NATURAL SCIENCES, AND TO THAT END TO ACQUIRE, PREPARE, MAINTAIN, AND USE EXHIBITS, BOOKS AND EQUIPMENT, CONDUCT CLASSES AND RESEARCH, AND TO PUBLISH DOCUMENTS AND BOOKS RELATING TO THE AFOREMENTIONED SUBJECTS.

The Friends of the Drew Forest is an entirely volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by environmental leaders from Madison and neighboring towns, dedicated community volunteers and Drew University alumni. Our vision is that the Drew Forest Preserve will be permanently protected as open space through a conservation sale that will strengthen Drew University and its financial future. Instead of selling to a developer, we propose a win-win: If Drew works with Madison Borough to sell this special land for full market value to a conservation buyer, Drew could benefit financially while securing the forest for student and public use. We are dedicated to forming partnerships to: - Protect and sustain the Drew Forest Preserve, 53 biodiverse acres that provide countless benefits to Drew University, Madison Borough, and surrounding communities along with critical wildlife habitat; - Raise awareness about the value of forests in aquifer protection, supporting biodiversity, climate resilience, temperature control, air quality, and quality of life; - Facilitate the enjoyment, understanding, and study of nature.

The mission of the Friends of NJSOC is to foster environmental knowledge and action through education programs delivered in a natural setting. We will create a community of diverse, responsible stewards of the earth who will promote sustainability practices, climate change mitigation and environmental justice."Environmental education for everyone, everywhere."

Wild Rivers Conservancy is the official nonprofit partner of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. We inspire stewardship to forever ensure the rare ecological integrity of the St. Croix and Namekagon Riverway.
