Created in 1968 to provide education programs and environmental consulting to the Sunriver Corporation and community, the Nature Center now offers nature and science education to the larger Central Oregon community, its schools, clubs, and organizations. Sample programs include: 1. Astronomy and natural science programs for school children. 2. Observatory activities for all ages. 3. Wildlife rehabilitation and habitat restoration projects.

Creative Materials & Resources By The Pound The St. Louis Teachers’ Recycle Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping creative materials and reusable resources out of landfills and putting them in the hands of children, teachers, artists and others for creative and intellectual development. Hollywood Cemetery is owned and operated by Hollywood Cemetery Company, Inc. Several years ago, Hollywood’s Board of Directors approved the formation of Friends of Hollywood Cemetery, a separate 501(c)3 organization. The mission of the Friends of Hollywood Cemetery is to keep Hollywood Cemetery a relevant and vital part of the Richmond community through conservation, preservation and education. Friends was established in 2007 and took a year to organize and become operational. In 2008, Friends became “active”, focusing on raising funds from Hollywood’s lot owners and working to expand its donor base of individuals, foundations, and corporations.

Friends of Hudson Parks is a 501(c)(3) organization independent from the City of Hudson which actively supports the use and enjoyment of the Hudson Parks through volunteerism, advocacy, promotion and fund raising. We are guided by our shared values: environmental conservation and restoration, education, community engagement, recreation, health and wellness — to serve, preserve and enhance the Hudson community through a vibrant park system. Captains for Clean Water is a grassroots nonprofit organization advocating for the elimination of harmful, large-scale Lake Okeechobee discharges into the Caloosahatchee and St. Lucie River Estuaries by restoring the natural flow of Lake Okeechobee water south into the Everglades and Florida Bay. Restoring the natural southern flow of Lake Okeechobee water is essential to the survival of our estuaries, the health of the Everglades, and the long-term viability of South Florida's largest drinking water source. The problem is known. The solution is known. The funding is available through Amendment 1. All that's missing is the political will to make it happen.

Through our annual "Denver Digs Trees" program, we distribute and plant more than 1,000 public trees each spring. Many of these trees are planted in Denver's most underserved neighborhoods. Our volunteer "Community Forester" program trains citizens to act as stewards over Denver's urban forest. The Park People manages Denver's Gates Tennis Center -- one of the country's premier public tennis facilities. We also raise private funds for public park projects, including building renovation, landscape projects, and historic preservation of park structures.

The mission of Luther Burbank Home & Gardens is to preserve the home and gardens of Luther Burbank and to share the living legacy of his life, ideals and contributions to the field of horticulture. In furtherance of this mission the organization will strive to: interpret Luther Burbank’s life, work and times for modern audiences; preserve and enhance the artifacts, the site, the structures, and the significant plant materials; serve the needs of Luther Burbank scholars; utilize the talent of volunteers to conduct the Home & Gardens programs; and provide a focus for fund-raising efforts as necessary for the support of the goals established by the Luther Burbank Home & Gardens board.

The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to drive bold, science-based action to sustain a dynamic coastal Louisiana through engagement and advocacy. Recognizing that Louisiana’s coastal land-loss will have dramatic impacts on the nation’s energy, navigation and fisheries interests, CRCL works at the state, local and federal level to ensure that restoring and protecting coastal Louisiana is a top priority for our state and the nation.
