Our mission is to promote sustainable village development in partnership with Cambodian people by helping to provide clean water, sanitation, educational opportunities, health care from birth onwards, improved nutrition, and economic empowerment. We work to increase awareness of environmental and social responsibility within families and communities by helping provide the necessary tools for villagers to improve their quality of life; feel pride and reach their highest potential. It is the fervent hope of the Cambodian Community Dream Organization to provide the following C - Commitment to access free quality education for all children C - Community involvement and honesty in all that we do D - Development of culture and living environment O - Opportunity to live a better life, breaking free of the poverty cycle

Project Have Hope works with a group of 100 women in the Acholi Quarter of Uganda and helps them transform their lives and the lives of their families. Through the sale of their beautiful hand-crafted goods, as well as through our adult literacy, vocational training, and children' education programs, the women can feed their families, send their children to school, and look forward to a richer future.

Our vision is to realize a future where all inhabitants of the Costa Rican coasts, human and sea turtle alike, can live together in balance; where healthy populations of sea turtles fulfill their ecological roles and economic potential; and critical natural habitats are sustainably managed. Mohonk Preserve's mission is to protect the Shawangunk Mountains region and inspire people to care for, enjoy and explore their natural world. With more than 18,000 member households and 300,000 annual visitors, the Preserve provides access to the land while protecting it. In so doing, the organization safeguards for current and future generations natural environments that are increasingly important in a rapidly growing and developing region.

The Wright Locke Farm Conservancy promotes the understanding of agriculture, natural science, and history among the youth and adults of Winchester and surrounding towns through our educational, agricultural, social and recreational programs and through the use and presentation of the historic farm buildings and objects to help current and future generations develop skills that promote cooperation, self-reliance, and prudent respect for nature.

The Snake River Alliance serves as Idaho’s nuclear watchdog and Idaho’s champion for renewable and nuclear-free energy. We raise community awareness about the dangers of nuclear waste, weapons and power while working to identify and promote sustainable alternatives. We do our work through advocacy, collaboration, education and grassroots organizing.

Crag is a client-focused law center that supports community efforts to protect and sustain the Pacific Northwest’s natural legacy. Implementing a unique model of legal aid for the environment, Crag balances the scales of justice by offering our clients free or low-cost legal services in combination with assistance on campaign strategies, communications, community organizing and media relations.

Marine Park Alliance assists NYC Parks in its largest Brooklyn property with a mission to provide cultural, environmental and volunteer programming in Marine Park for the health and well-being of all New Yorkers. To carry out this mission the group envisions elevating this regional park as a South Brooklyn cultural gem – horticulturally, programmatically, and ecologically – free to the public.

We protect the historic, agricultural and natural resources surrounding Cazenovia New York for the benefit of the community. CPF preserves nearly 3,700 acres of local farmland, habitat and open space and holds eleven conservation easements that protect historical building facades to maintain the character of Cazenovia and surrounding areas. We want to ensure that our area remains a special place for future generations.

Wild Connections, a science-based advocacy organization, works to identify, protect and restore lands of the Upper Arkansas and South Platte watersheds to ensure the survival of native species and ecological richness. We focus on designing, implementing and defending the Wild Connections Conservation Plan – a vision for the future of this region that embodies the results of many years of roadless area mapping, citizen input and conservation science.

The mission of the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy is to conserve the unique plant and animal habitat, clean water, farmland and scenic beauty and places for people to enjoy outdoor recreation in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee for the benefit of present and future generations. We achieve this by forging and maintaining long-term conservation relationships with private landowners, owning and managing land and encouraging strong, healthy local communities.

Great Old Broads for Wilderness is a national organization that engages and ignites the activism of elders to preserve and protect wilderness and wild lands. Conceived by older women who love wilderness, Broads gives voice to the millions of older Americans who want to protect their public lands as wilderness for this and future generations. We bring knowledge, commitment, and humor to the movement to protect our last wild places on earth.
