Founded by world-renowned conservationist Lawrence Anthony in 2003, our mission is to reverse the decline of the natural world, upon which all life depends for its survival.  Through education and the implementation of effective solutions, we help people increase their understanding that none of us survive alone - that all life does best when it works together with other life. This better connects everyone with the natural world, resulting in more constructive problem solving. As industry, governments, communities and individuals adopt this way of thinking and working, the world is better protected and restored.

The Occidental Arts & Ecology Center (OAEC) is an 80-acre research, demonstration, advocacy and organizing center in Sonoma County, California that develops strategies for regional-scale community resilience. Their mission is to protect biological and cultural diversity, we need rapid and dramatic change.

The World Fellowship Center promotes social justice and connections between people, communities, and nature through education, recreation, and creative expression.

The Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center (“OLC”) was founded in 2016 as a 501(c)(3) by world renowned oceanographic explorer, conservationist and documentary filmmaker Fabien Cousteau to fulfill his dream of creating a vehicle for positive change in the world. The OLC will focus on Public Awareness (SEE), Education (LEARN) and Special Projects (DO). Some of these activities and initiatives include: coral reef restoration programs, sea turtles restoration programs, and educational resources that can be used for elementary grades to the university level, as well museum programming. These components will allow us to empower communities and children to help restore local water ecosystems through the healthy “replanting” of key marine species and empower future stewards of ocean conservation. Through knowledge and innovative technologies regarding ocean preservation, we collaborate with partners to develop educational programs and activities in aquatic conservation, restoration, and marine projects dedicated to protecting the Earth’s waters and its inhabitants for the future of our next generation.

To encourage and strengthen community-based approaches to resource management and sustainable economic development in the Cobscook Bay region, the Bay of Fundy, and the Gulf of Maine.
