Whether young or old, become a citizen scientist for one or two weeks, or more. The foundation of our work is science and local need. We focus on sustainable conservation projects that target clearly defined, critical issues that humankind has the power to change. You, our international volunteers, work hand-in-hand with local biologists and communities to drive positive outcomes for biodiversity - the creation of a protected area for snow leopards in the Altai is just one recent example. Biosphere Expeditions is a member of the IUCN (International Union for the Conservation of Nature) and of the United Nations Environment Programme's (UNEP) Governing Council & Global Ministerial Environment Forum. Achievements include the implementation of our conservation recommendations and species protection plans by numerous national and regional governments and NGOs, the creation of protected areas on four continents, scientific and lay publications, as well as capacity-building, training and education all over the world.

Clean Lakes Alliance's mission is to champion our lakes and watershed stewardship for the benefit of all.

BEAR TRUST INTERNATIONAL WORKS TO CONSERVE ALL EIGHT SPECIES OF THE WORLD'S BEARS, OTHER WILDLIFE, AND HABITAT. WE BELIEVE THAT WILD BEARS IN THEIR NATURAL HABITAT ARE KEY INDICATORS OF ECOSYSTEM HEALTH. THEIR ABILITY TO SUSTAIN THEMSELVES IS, THEREFORE, CRITICAL TO WILDLIFE. BEAR TRUST STRIVES TO REINFORCE ECOSYSTEM VIABILITY THROUGH HABITAT CONSERVATION AND EDUCATION PROJECTS THAT BUILD ON TIMELY RESEARCH.

Audubon's mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit of humanity and the earth's biological diversity.

Nashville Zoo's mission is to inspire a culture of understanding and discovery of our natural world through conservation, innovation and leadership. Utilizing diverse learning opportunities, the Zoo’s overall conservation and education message is to provide visitors of all ages a better understanding of and connection with the natural world. We strive to inspire and empower positive attitudes to affect change for the better. Conservation is a critical part of Nashville Zoo’s mission. Through our Wild Works Global Conservation initiatives we are actively involved in research, habitat protection, breeding programs and education initiatives around the globe as well as in our own backyard.
