BEAR TRUST INTERNATIONAL WORKS TO CONSERVE ALL EIGHT SPECIES OF THE WORLD'S BEARS, OTHER WILDLIFE, AND HABITAT. Silent Heroes Foundation

Silent Heroes Foundation (SHF) believes in the One Health philosophy, whereby humans and animals are intricately connected to their environment. This is most especially true where we operate, in the developing world. With One Health in mind, SHF is committed to enhance both animal and human well-being in Africa, as well as to aid in the protection and conservation of its wildlife and endangered species. This is achieved through supporting the work of veterinarians & conservationists in Africa, through the implementation of innovative conservation and mitigation of human-wildlife conflict, & through research and education initiatives with a focus at the interface between humans, domestic animals, and wildlife.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy works to conserve wildlife, provide a sanctuary for great apes, and to generate income through wildlife tourism and complementary enterprise for reinvestment in conservation and communities.

Bushlife Conservancy

Bushlife Conservancy is dedicated to protecting and preserving African wildlife in its native habitat. The most important work we do is anti-poaching and conservation in Mana Pools National Park, which is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, and the Zambezi River Valley of Zimbabwe and Zambia. We also monitor and track iconic bull elephants, develop infrastructure to establish ongoing ranger presence in vulnerable areas, and provide funding to support local community health and welfare needs.

Delaware Nature Society

Delaware Nature Society’s mission is to connect people with the natural world to improve our environment through education, conservation, and advocacy. Founded in 1964, we are the state affiliate for the National Wildlife Federation. We provide the tools for communities to take action to protect the environment through land preservation, wildlife habitats, and watershed stewardship.We manage 2,000 acres of land, including 4 nature preserves, educational sites: Ashland Nature Center, Abbott’s Mill Nature Center, DuPont Environmental Education Center, and Coverdale Farm Preserve. Our organizational priorities are focused on: Working & Natural Lands, Healthy Waters and Protecting Habitats & Wildlife. We envision a healthy and sustainable environment.

SeaDoc Society, UC Davis

The mission of the SeaDoc Society is to ensure the health of marine wildlife and their ecosystems through science and education. We strive to find science-based solutions for marine wildlife in the Salish Sea through a multi-species approach. SeaDoc is a program of the Karen C. Drayer Wildlife Health Center at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
